During the Deep Cover mission, find the UC Vigilance next to Mars in the Sol System. Grav-jump to the ship, hail it, and dock; once aboard, follow the SysDef guard to the Operations Center to meet Commander Ikande.
Where is the UC Vigilance in Starfield?
For Deep Cover, the UC Vigilance is next to Mars in the Sol System, according to Bethesda’s Deep Cover mission guide. Bethesda also cautions that mission locations can be unique to a playthrough, so this location should not be treated as a permanent coordinate for every quest state.
How do you board the UC Vigilance?
- Open the star map and grav-jump to the UC Vigilance next to Mars in Sol.
- Hail the ship, then choose the option to dock.
- Board the Vigilance and speak with the SysDef guard at the entrance.
- Follow the guard through the ship and take the elevator to the Operations Center, where Commander Ikande is waiting.
When does the Deep Cover route send you there?
Deep Cover is a Crimson Fleet faction mission, and its prerequisite is Grunt Work. After returning to Commander Tuala during Grunt Work, he can direct you to the UC Vigilance for Deep Cover; the exact path can vary by playthrough. Bethesda’s Grunt Work guide provides that mission context.
Can the UC Vigilance be somewhere else later?
Yes. The Mars location is the route Bethesda gives for Deep Cover, not a universal location for the ship throughout the Crimson Fleet story. Bethesda’s Legacy’s End guide lists both the UC Vigilance and The Key as mission locations. The Key is in the Kryx System, as described in Bethesda’s guide to The Key. The guides do not establish one fixed Vigilance location after every quest outcome, so follow the active mission marker if you are at a later point in the story.
