The reported Steam Black Friday sale ran from November 24 to December 1, 2025, and has ended. The 15 picks below are historical offers, not prices available now: AllThings. How’s November 27 guide reported them in US dollars during the sale. Its prices were not independently verified against archived Steam listings, and regional prices may have differed.
What happened with Steam’s 2025 Black Friday sale?
Valve’s February 2025 schedule listed the Steam Autumn Sale for September 29–October 6, and Valve confirmed those dates in a September 29 Steam News post. That earlier calendar did not list a Black Friday sale. PC Gamer and TechRadar later reported a separate Steam Black Friday sale running November 24–December 1, 2025, so the two events are not contradictory. Valve’s post about the Autumn Sale said: “From now through October 6th at 10 a.m. PT, you’ll find deals across the entire store on games of all kinds.” Valve / Steam News, “Steam Autumn Sale is here!”

How should you judge whether a deal is worth buying?
Compare the final price, not just the discount
A large percentage cut can still leave a higher checkout price than a smaller cut on another game. Compare the sale price against the amount you are willing to spend, then consider whether the game’s length and style suit you. A discounted game is not a bargain if you are unlikely to play it.
Check what the edition actually includes
Collections and premium editions can offer more content for the money, but the value depends on what is bundled. The guide describes Mass Effect Legendary Edition as three games plus DLC, while Resident Evil Village Gold Edition includes the base game and named add-ons. Confirm the package contents on the product page before buying, especially when different editions share similar names.

Match the format to how you play
The list spans open-world adventures, RPG collections, horror, fighting games and branching stories. It Takes Two is built for two-player co-op, so its low price matters only if you have someone to play with. Multiplayer-focused picks may also be a poor fit if you primarily want a solo campaign.
What other sale offers were reported?
PC Gamer and TechRadar also reported a 20% discount on the 256GB LCD Steam Deck during the broader 2025 sale period. That was a separate hardware offer, not one of the 15 game deals, and it has expired. A second contemporaneous guide covered categories including action/shooters, RPGs, multiplayer/co-op, fighting/anime and horror/survival; it reported Dead Space Remake at $8.99 (85% off), It Takes Two at $9.99 (75% off) and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at $24 (60% off). Those are that guide’s historical reported US-dollar prices, not additions to the AllThings. How shortlist.

How to prepare for the next Steam sale
- Add games to your Steam wishlist: Steam Support says wishlist items can trigger sale notifications. See Steam Support’s wishlist and sale-notification guidance.
- Check the exact edition and regional price: Open the game’s Steam store page, compare editions and included content, and review the price shown for your account’s region.
- Decide what you will actually play: Note whether you want a solo campaign, a collection, multiplayer or a game that requires a co-op partner; then compare the final price with your budget.
- Buy during the offer window if you want the sale price: Steam Support says discounts cannot be applied retroactively to purchases made outside the sale period. Its policy may change, so check the current help page when buying.
