Steam’s 2025 Autumn Sale was over well before Cyber Monday. A separate late-November Steam Black Friday sale was reported to run through December 1, but the available sources do not establish a separate Cyber Monday-branded sale. All prices below are historical, not current offers.
Was there a Steam Cyber Monday sale in 2025?
The sources document two different events: Valve’s official Autumn Sale, which ran September 29 through October 6, and a late-November Black Friday sale reported by PC Gamer. They do not confirm a distinct Steam Cyber Monday event. That distinction matters: a sale running over Cyber Monday is not necessarily a sale announced or branded specifically for Cyber Monday.
When did Steam’s 2025 sales run?
Autumn Sale: September 29–October 6
Valve’s 2025 second-half event announcement scheduled the Autumn Sale for September 29–October 6. Valve confirmed it was live in a September 29 Steam News post, which said offers ended October 6 at 10 a.m. PT. Valve described deals across the store on games of all kinds.
Black Friday sale: reported November 24–December 1
PC Gamer reported on November 24 that Steam was running what it called its first Black Friday sale, scheduled to end December 1. The report characterized it as smaller than Steam’s seasonal sales. This is a reported Black Friday promotion, not confirmation of a dedicated Cyber Monday event.

Steam Deck 256GB LCD discounts
Valve’s Autumn Sale announcement also promoted 20% off Steam Deck 256GB LCD models through October 6 at 10 a.m. PT. Separately, PC Gamer reported the same model at 20% off during the November Black Friday sale, with prices of $319 in the US and £279 in the UK. These are historical offer details; they do not establish present stock or pricing.

Valve’s Steamworks documentation says, “Four times a year, we run Steam-wide seasonal sale events.” The currently published event calendar covers 2026–2027, so it does not confirm a future Cyber Monday promotion or predict discounts for a particular game. Valve’s documentation also says a game released at least 30 days before a seasonal sale is eligible to participate with a discount; eligibility does not guarantee a discount.
