What did “free to keep” mean?
Steamworks defines a Free to Keep promotion as a limited-time offer through which players can acquire a permanent game license at no cost. A Free Weekend is different: it grants temporary access. To receive a Free to Keep game, a player must add it to their Steam account while the promotion is active; this expired offer can no longer be claimed.
