Stellar Blade outfits, called Nano Suits in-game, are cosmetic rewards found through exploration, shops, quests, collectibles, Boss Challenge and New Game+. The available roster has grown since launch, so older lists of 40 suits are not a current total. This guide groups documented unlock routes and marks the replay and special-content requirements that matter.
What counts as an outfit in Stellar Blade?
Nano Suits are Eve’s outfits. Many are obtained by finding a Design Pattern or blueprint and crafting it; others are granted directly by a quest, challenge, collectible milestone, shop purchase or special update. Some routes have New Game+ variants. This article covers documented examples and routes, not a verified exhaustive roster as of October 2026: a June 2025 guide describes the game as having over 100 outfits, but does not establish a current total across all variants and special content. Counts depend on what is included. At launch, PowerPyx listed 40 Nano Suits in April 2024; later updates added more. Sony’s April 2024 New Game+ announcement counted 34 new outfits, including five accessories, and its June 2025 update announcement described 25 new Nano Suits as additional rewards. Exploration and Design Patterns
Search chests and area routes for patterns, then craft the outfit. Several documented examples show how unlocks may be tied to a particular encounter or challenge rather than simply reaching a region.

Spire 4
- Black Rose: Find its Design Pattern after disarming lasers in the Raphael Space Center section.
- Photogenic: Its Design Pattern is obtained immediately after the Karakuri fight. The guide also lists the Telegenic New Game+ variant at the same location.
Abyss Levoire
- Planet Diving Suit (3rd): The Design Pattern is in the Closed Lobby after a laser combat challenge. The guide also places its New Game+ V2 pattern in that area.
Eidos 7 and Eidos 9
- Planet Diving Suit (7th): This is Eve’s default outfit at the start. Its V2 pattern is in Eidos 7; the guide also lists a V3 New Game+ variant.
- Planet Diving Suit (6th): Find its Design Blueprint in Eidos 9 on the route to the “Making New Memories” ending. A V2 blueprint is at the same location in New Game+.
Shop outfits
- Planet Diving Suit (2nd): Buy the Design Pattern from Roxanne in Xion. A V2 pattern is also listed there for New Game+.
Shops are worth revisiting in a replay: New Game+ can add cosmetic variants to shop stock, alongside rewards in other systems.
Quest and collectible rewards
- Blue Monsoon: Complete the “Precious Treasure” quest in the Great Desert.
- Ocean Maid: Catch every type of fish to unlock it.
New Game+ and Boss Challenge suits
New Game+ adds outfit variants and other cosmetics, and some patterns appear in the same locations as their first-playthrough counterparts. The variants called out above are Photogenic’s Telegenic version, Planet Diving Suit (2nd) V2, Planet Diving Suit (3rd) V2, Planet Diving Suit (6th) V2, and Planet Diving Suit (7th) V2 and V3. Sony’s April 2024 announcement describes 34 new outfits to earn in New Game+, but that figure includes five accessories and should not be read as a current suit total.

- Neurolink Suit: Sony says to defeat every Boss Challenge boss on Normal difficulty or higher to earn it.
- Royal Guard Suit: Sony’s June 2025 update announcement identifies this as a Boss Challenge reward.

NieR:Automata collaboration
The November 2024 collaboration added eleven items available through Emil’s Shop. Sony’s announcement separately says the update adds four costumes and one accessory; these figures describe different aspects of the collaboration and should not be conflated. Sony’s NieR:Automata update announcement.

Holiday content
A December 2024 seasonal update introduced Eve’s Santa Dress. Sony said seasonal and NieR content could be toggled, so availability and visibility may depend on those content settings. Sony’s holiday update announcement.
June 2025 content update
Sony announced 25 new Nano Suits as additional rewards for the update, along with Crimson Wing as a release-celebration gift for all users and Royal Guard Suit through Boss Challenge. These are statements tied to the June 2025 update, not confirmation of what has been added since. Sony’s PC launch and update announcement.
How to use a checklist without missing variants
- Check whether the entry is a direct outfit reward or a Design Pattern/blueprint that must be crafted.
- Match the named area, encounter, quest, shop or collectible requirement to your current progress.
- Look for a New Game+ or V2/V3 label; a base-game route may not unlock its replay variant.
- For event or collaboration entries, check the relevant content availability and in-game settings rather than assuming every outfit is part of the base-game exploration route.
The published location examples above are documented in Push Square’s guide. Because the available evidence does not validate every outfit, variant, edition entitlement or later addition against the October 2026 in-game roster, use a current in-game checklist for literal completion rather than treating any dated guide or announcement count as definitive.
