STFC: Borg Solo Armada Locations (Classic Systems and Conqueror Variant)

Classic Borg Solo Armada systems range from Atraxi and Megnomis at level 35 to Orin-Sigma-9 at level 60. Conqueror armadas are a separate Ops 55–80 variant with no officially published system list.

Classic Borg Solo Armadas are listed in eight system entries: Atraxi/Megnomis, Petoran, Efros, Torovin, Thora-Beta-6, Thora-Omega-2, Orin-Theta-12 and Orin-Sigma-9. Their uncommon, rare and epic levels are shown below. This list comes from the community-maintained Star Trek Fleet Command Test Site, so confirm the encounter in your current game client. Do not assume these systems are the locations for the newer Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas; Scopely has not published an official system list for that variant.

Classic Borg Solo Armada systems and levels

The reference below separates each named system from the difficulty levels reported for it. A blank level means the community list does not show that rarity for the system, not that the encounter is necessarily unavailable in every game version.

System Uncommon Rare Epic
Atraxi 35 not listed not listed
Megnomis 35 not listed not listed
Petoran 41 42 43
Efros 45 46 47
Torovin 48 49 50
Thora-Beta-6 52 53 54
Thora-Omega-2 56 57 58
Orin-Theta-12 58 59 60
Orin-Sigma-9 60 60 60

The source is a community reference rather than a Scopely map, and its page does not establish a permanent spawn schedule or guarantee that a listed level is active on every server. If a system does not match your client, use the in-game map and encounter details as the authority for your current version.

Classic versus Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas

“Borg Solo Armada” can refer to two different encounter lines. Classic armadas are the systems and levels in the table. Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas were introduced in the Maverick loop and use a separate progression and entry requirement.

How Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas are gated

Warp Dive Bar access

Ops 55+ players unlock the Warp Dive Bar through the Warp Dive mission in the Gift section. The building is the access point for the Conqueror encounter loop, so reaching the required Ops level alone does not replace the mission and building requirement.

Mandatory ship classes

Before launching, check that the attacking fleet contains one Explorer, one Interceptor and one Battleship. Scopely’s Update 88 guide says that omitting any one of these classes triggers the Borg’s Adapt, Overcome fail-safe, which immediately destroys the attacking fleet. This is a composition check, not a recommendation to substitute a stronger ship from a repeated class.

Conqueror difficulty bands and abilities

Scopely’s Help Center groups the 13 Conqueror levels into three grade bands:

  • G5 common: Ops 55–60.
  • G6 uncommon: Ops 62–69.
  • G7 rare: Ops 72–80.

The ability package escalates by grade. Isolytic Damage appears across the grades; Apex Barrier is listed for uncommon and rare encounters; Critical Hit Damage is listed for rare encounters. The grade bands leave gaps between some Ops ranges, so do not treat every Ops number from 55 through 80 as a separate published band.

Preparation recommended by Scopely

For Conqueror encounters, Scopely points players toward preparation in four areas:

Maverick research

  • Isolytic Defense vs. Conqueror Borg SA at Ops 55.
  • Apex Shred vs. Conqueror Borg SA at Ops 62.
  • Critical Damage Reduction vs. Conqueror Borg SA at Ops 71.

Crew and below-deck setup

Use Armada-focused officers and combat-oriented Below Deck officers suited to the encounter. The official guidance does not reduce every level to one universal crew; match the crew bonuses to the abilities of the grade you are fighting.

  • Your overall goal is to complete missions that earn you points as the player with the most points after three rounds wins.
  • Lead your away team into the aftermath of the Battle of Wolf 359.

Tech and support ships

Scopely recommends suitable Forbidden and Chaos Tech, plus support from ships such as the U.S.S. Defiant, U.S.S. Cerritos and U.S.S. Titan-A. These recommendations supplement, rather than replace, the required Explorer–Interceptor–Battleship fleet composition.

Where to look when the system list does not match

  1. Decide whether the target is a classic Borg Solo Armada or a Conqueror Borg Solo Armada.
  2. For classic encounters, compare the system and level in the table with the current in-game map and armada details.
  3. For Conqueror encounters, check Ops eligibility, complete the Warp Dive mission, confirm the Warp Dive Bar, and verify all three required ship classes before entering combat.
  4. If a Conqueror system name is absent from your map, do not infer it from the classic table; no official system mapping is established in the cited Scopely materials.

What is and is not confirmed about locations

The eight-system table is useful for finding the classic encounters, but it is maintained by the Star Trek Fleet Command Test Site rather than Scopely. Scopely’s Update 88 and Help Center materials confirm the Conqueror rules, grades and preparation, yet do not identify the systems that host those encounters. Consequently, a classic system name should not be presented as a confirmed Conqueror location.
