The Platboom Echo is the key traversal tool: learn it in the northern cave, use Bind to reposition a Platboom, then use Platbooms and Old Bed Echoes to reach the higher areas. This is a Gerudo Desert rift, not the Gerudo Sanctum dungeon.
How to unlock the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins rift
First complete the three smaller main quests in the Gerudo Desert, then return to Gerudo Town and progress through the palace sequence. After you receive a report about a rift in the eastern desert, travel northeast from the Oasis to reach it. Tri opens the way into the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins.

Find Tri’s friends in the northern cave
Inside the rift, your goal is to locate five groups of Tri’s friends. Start by heading into the northern cave section. Platbooms drop as you approach. Defeat one with an Echo such as Deku Baba, then learn the Platboom Echo from it.
At the far left of the cave, use Bind to move a Platboom into position. With one Platboom left, use it to reach the friends on the ledge.

Reach the elevated groups outside
Leave the cave, then go left and down to find another elevated group. Several Echoes can get Zelda up to the purple blob nearby; the Platboom you just learned is the clearly supported route. Place one and use it to gain height. Switching to Swordfighter Form after placing it lets Zelda jump higher onto the Platboom.
Continue toward the northwest corner using Echoes and Platbooms to reach the next group. Frozen Facette is nearby. After finding that group, head east to locate another.

Find the final group in the northeast
From the eastern group, work toward the northeast using Platboom and Old Bed Echoes to cross the elevated terrain. At the far end, look for a boulder. Bind it and move it aside to uncover the fifth and final group of Tri’s friends.

Once all five groups are found, Tri mends the rift. The Facette who had been advising Chief Seera is exposed as an Echo; the real Facette appears, and Seera defeats the impostor.
