Mega Stone purchase limits
Mega Stones sold by the Stone Emporium are one per save file. After you buy one, it disappears from the shop rather than returning as a restock. You can therefore buy each listed Mega Stone only once.
The Mega Stone tied to your chosen first partner is the exception: it is given to you by AZ and is not sold on that save file. For example, choosing Tepig gives you Emboarite, so Emboarite will not appear as a purchase. The other two starter Mega Stones become available after completing the main story.

Only four evolution stones are listed
That is the opening inventory: Fire, Thunder, Water, and Leaf Stones. The remaining six evolution stones are added after completing the main story.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYour chosen starter’s Mega Stone is absent
That stone was supplied by AZ instead of being sold. A Chikorita player receives Meganiumite, a Tepig player receives Emboarite, and a Totodile player receives Feraligite.
A Mega Stone vanished after purchase
This is the intended one-per-save limit. Mega Stones do not normally restock after purchase.
You expected DLC Mega Stones to be sold here
The Stone Emporium’s listed stock does not include the DLC Mega Stones. The Mega Dimension DLC adds Mega Evolutions including Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, but those stones are obtained through DLC content rather than bought from this shop. Nintendo’s DLC information explains the expansion’s scope.
Important price and location corrections
- The useful location is not simply “south of Prism Tower.” The shop is on Vernal Avenue, on the Bleu District side, beside Promenade du Vent.
- Not every evolution stone is available when the shop opens.
- The Stone Emporium does not sell every starter Mega Stone on every save.
- Emboarite costs ₽100,000, not ₽70,000. The lower figure appears in some early guide tables.
Quick cost guide
- Evolution Stones: ₽3,000 each.
- Jaw and Sail Fossils: ₽20,000 each.
- Old Amber: ₽30,000.
- Lower-priced Mega Stones: ₽50,000.
- Mid-priced Mega Stones: ₽70,000.
- Charizardite X, Charizardite Y, Blastoisinite, and the purchasable starter Mega Stones: ₽100,000 each.
Because evolution stones and fossils can be bought repeatedly but Mega Stones generally cannot, prioritize the Mega Stones you actually need before spending heavily on repeatable items.
Version and platform scope
The stock and prices above apply to Pokémon Legends: Z‑A on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The current Nintendo-published version is Ver. 2.0.2, released March 18, 2026; its update history does not list a Stone Emporium inventory or price revision.
