Storybook Vale recipes cover furniture, functional items, refined materials, fences, and paving. The list below gives verified examples and explains how to check recipes in your own game; the available reference catalogs are secondary sources, not an official, version-stamped complete list. Recipe visibility depends on what you have unlocked, so use the crafting menu to confirm an item and its current material requirements.
How to find Storybook Vale crafting recipes
Craft at a specialized crafting station. Its menu shows recipes you have unlocked and highlights those for which you currently have enough materials. A recipe that is missing from the menu may not be unlocked yet; its absence does not necessarily mean you are short on an ingredient. After crafting a recipe, its entry appears in the Collections window under the Crafting tab. Crafting mechanics reference
The broad recipe catalog includes items from multiple game regions, so a general catalog is not automatically a Storybook Vale-only list. The entries below are examples identified as Vale recipes, not a complete or version-guaranteed inventory. Recipe catalog
Storybook Vale recipe examples
| Category | Recipe | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| Furniture | Storybook Frame | 2 Petrified Wood, 250 Storybook Magic, and 2 Pink Demon Snippets |
| Functional items | Basic Faerie Lure Trap; Basic Faerie Slow Trap; Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent | Costs differ by recipe and use Vale resources such as Petrified Wood, Volcanic Rock, Storybook Magic, and specific fish. |

The item-specific Storybook Frame reference says it is crafted at a crafting station. The other named examples and their ingredient families come from a broad secondary catalog; consult the unlocked recipe in your crafting menu for exact costs. Storybook Frame recipe Recipe catalog

A crafting recipe tells you what to spend to make an item. Finding those materials in the Vale is a separate task and may involve regional obstacles, tools, or upgrades. For example, the regional obstacle reference associates Petrified Wood Rock with the Library of Lore and says it requires a pickaxe. That is a gathering requirement, not an extra ingredient added to every recipe that uses Petrified Wood. Storybook Vale obstacles reference

What to do when an item or recipe is missing
- Open a crafting station and look for the recipe among the entries currently available to you.
- If the recipe appears, check its displayed materials and gather any shortfall; the menu indicates when you have enough to craft it.
- If the recipe does not appear, treat unlocking or progression as a possibility rather than assuming a material is missing.
- After crafting, check Collections > Crafting for the recipe entry.
- For uncertain costs or recipes, rely on your in-game menu over a general catalog, since the available catalogs do not provide verified version metadata.
