Summer Game Fest Live took place on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. PT at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. Geoff Keighley hosted the two-hour show, which opened a wider week of game presentations running June 4–9. Here’s the schedule, where the event was streamed, and what the available coverage confirms about its announcements.
Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule
The main show was one part of a broader June 4–9 showcase period. The surrounding program included events from individual publishers as well as showcases focused on particular communities and types of games, so not every presentation in that window was formally part of Summer Game Fest.

Wholesome Direct’s official event listing gave a June 6 start at 9 a.m. PT, while the Engadget and PC Gamer schedules placed it on June 7, at noon ET. Because those listings conflict, treat the date and time as unsettled rather than combining them into a definitive schedule. The official description promised “World premieres and more surprises from the latest uplifting, joyful, and hopeful games.” (Wholesome Direct event listing.)
Where to watch the Summer Game Fest stream
The venue announcement named YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok, and Steam as places to watch the June 6 show. That identifies the original broadcast destinations, not necessarily places where a replay remains available now. Replay availability can change, so check the relevant official channel or event page before relying on an archived stream. (YouTube Theater announcement.)

What was announced at Summer Game Fest 2025?
Lies of P: Overture launched during the show
One concrete announcement became an immediate release: NEOWIZ and ROUND8 Studio launched Lies of P: Overture onstage on June 6, and the expansion was available that day. It is DLC for Lies of P, not a standalone new game. Game director Jiwon Choi described it as completing “the first arc of our story” in NEOWIZ’s release. (NEOWIZ press release, June 6, 2025.)
What new games were shown?
Contemporary live coverage reported on the main-show reveals, including Mortal Shell II. That coverage is editorial reporting rather than a complete official announcement archive, and it should not be treated as an exhaustive list of everything shown across the main event and the many adjacent presentations. For individual games, consult the relevant publisher announcement for confirmed platforms and release timing. (PC Gamer live coverage.)
