Current Summoners Greed tier list
The tiers below reproduce Pocket Gamer’s list updated October 8, 2026, for game version 1.108.17. Pocket Gamer says placements consider use across different game modes, but does not publish a scoring formula or complete, separate rankings for each mode. Treat the order as a dated point of reference, not a universal performance measurement. See Pocket Gamer’s tier list.

How to choose monsters for your team
Start with the mode and your stage of progression
A monster’s placement across several modes may not tell you how well it fits the map, event or challenge you are playing. Use the tier as a shortlist, then consider what the mode asks of your lineup and where you are in progression. The published list does not provide a full set of mode-by-mode rankings.
Build around the monsters you have invested in
A tier label does not account for your own monster’s level, star level, evolution or the rest of your formation. In community discussion, players recommend concentrating upgrades on a leveled damage dealer and supporting it, rather than spreading investment across the roster. That is player advice, not a controlled test or official rule.
Rank #4
- 100% official
- PVC figure from the Super Figure Collection (SFC) range
- Height: 17 cm
- Scale: 1/10th
Think in roles, not just tiers
A July 2026 strategy guide suggests Mighty for an attack boost and Speedy for attack speed, with Amaterasu as a damage carry and Jiraiya for range and freezing. It also identifies Zeus for situations calling for lightning, Kingslayer for a late-game Map 13 role, and Hellhound or Ifrit as a special option. These are secondary-source suggestions from July, so later balance changes may affect their usefulness. Read the July strategy guide.
The broader takeaway is to ask what your team needs: damage, control or support. You do not need to own every S-tier monster if a lower-ranked option is better leveled or fits the role your lineup lacks. Pocket Gamer’s S tier itself includes support characters and lower-rarity monsters such as Mighty, Speedy, Devon and Mr. Flamey, so rarity alone is not a reliable shortcut for choosing a team.

Why old tier lists can mislead
Summoners Greed receives balance and content updates, and the developer’s release notes show that monster rules can change substantially. Pixio’s version 1.107.1 notes, dated March 5, 2026, said, “We boosted their power by 30x!” about Mythicals. Version 1.107.4 notes, dated March 19, 2026, described further Mythical changes: one copy needed to increase a Mythical’s star level, a leveling cost of 5 coins instead of 500, and x10 skill damage. These are historical patch-note figures, not confirmation of the current costs or effects. Check the official iOS listing and release notes.
Because the list and the game can change on different schedules, compare its update date and version with the game you are playing. Pocket Gamer says new releases and buffs or nerfs are incorporated over time; that does not make the tier list official or eliminate the need to reconsider a team after an update.
Quick Recap
A quick way to use the list
- Pick the problem you need to solve. Identify the mode, map or event and whether your lineup needs a damage dealer, crowd control or support.
- Compare realistic options. Look at the relevant tier entries, then weigh role fit and your monsters’ level, stars and evolution rather than chasing rarity alone.
- Invest deliberately. Community advice favors building around a developed carry and useful supports; treat that as a practical suggestion, not a guaranteed formula.
- Recheck after updates. Use the list’s displayed date and version, and revisit your lineup when balance changes arrive.
