Summoners Kingdom: Goddess is a free-to-download mobile idle RPG with in-app purchases; hero rankings, codes, events, and banner value can change, so confirm current details in the game before spending or planning around a reward.
What kind of game is Summoners Kingdom: Goddess?
Summoners Kingdom: Goddess is a mobile fantasy idle RPG and card game available on Android and Apple mobile devices. Its store listings describe collecting more than 100 heroes, placing them strategically for battles, exploring realms, developing a kingdom, and joining alliances or guild activities. The “over 100” figure comes from the developer’s Google Play description, not an independent roster count. Apple’s listing also describes PvE and PvP modes.
The game is free to download and includes in-app purchases. That means you can begin without paying, but purchases are available inside the game.
What should you do first?
- Advance the story. Push stages while your team can handle them; story progress can open further content and resources. Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide, published October 22, 2024, advises progressing rather than repeatedly grinding a single stage.
- Build a focused team. Improve a core group that helps you keep advancing instead of dividing scarce materials among every hero. Save universal shards for heroes you expect to keep.
- Claim available rewards. Check the game’s current quests, event requirements, and notices, and collect rewards you have already earned. Pocket Gamer’s guide recommends daily, weekly, and monthly quests and earning summon keys through stages and events.
- Use side activities when their rewards help. The 2024 guide describes Adventure activities, Arcade mini-games that can award summon keys, and Sacred Objects unlocked through Saving Goddess after story progression. Feature availability and rewards may differ in later versions, so check the descriptions in your client.
Pocket Gamer suggested Chapter 12 as a milestone in its 2024 guide. Treat that as an older guide target, not a current requirement or guarantee; your best next step is the furthest stage your team can clear efficiently.
Which heroes should you upgrade?
Prioritize heroes that fit your team and let you progress, rather than following a name list without considering role or current balance. Pocket Gamer’s October 2024 beginner guide highlighted Wukong, Horus, Raphael, Aphrodite, and Valkyrie as worthwhile priorities if obtained. These are recommendations from that guide, not official rankings.

A newer Pocket Gamer tier list, updated September 3, 2026 for version 1.0.53, places Li Bai, ZiYao, Meownica, Hastur, Erythnul, Wukong, Raphael, Hippolyta, Horus, Valkyrie, and Aphrodite in its S+ tier. A tier list is a snapshot of one outlet’s assessment; team fit and later balance changes can alter what is useful. - Before investing heavily, consider whether the hero fills a useful role in your current team.
- Concentrate upgrade materials instead of leveling the entire roster equally.
- Keep universal shards for likely long-term choices. The 2024 guide says early investments can be reset, but check the current reset rules and costs in-game before relying on that option.
How should you spend diamonds and gold?
Pocket Gamer’s 2024 beginner guide describes diamonds as premium currency and recommends saving them for exclusive summons rather than spending them freely on normal summons or other items. That is one guide author’s strategy, not an official rule or proof that every exclusive banner is good value for every account.
Before using diamonds, compare the current banner’s featured heroes, duration, and terms with what your team needs. The guide also recommends keeping gold for later hero and gear costs and holding resources when you are unsure. Check current shop terms and your available balance in the client; the evidence does not establish a universally best purchase.

Are the recurring activities worth doing?
Use the activity list as a source of resources, but prioritize what is available and useful in your version. Pocket Gamer’s 2024 guide recommends checking daily, weekly, and monthly quests, reviewing event requirements and rewards, and clearing Adventure activities where practical. It also identifies Arcade as a source of possible summon keys and says Saving Goddess unlocks Sacred Objects after story progression. Confirm each feature and its present reward description in-game, since those details come from an older guide.

Do you need to spend money?
No purchase is required to download the game or begin playing. Pocket Gamer’s guide author reports progressing without spending and says spending is optional, while noting that purchases may make progress easier. That is an individual account’s experience, not a controlled progression test or a guarantee that every player can clear all current content without paying.

Pocket Gamer’s 2024 guide referred to a code that then awarded 100 summons, and its September 2026 tier-list page also mentions 100 free summoning keys through codes; neither confirms a live code or reward today. Check the game’s current notices and its linked community channels before trying a code or counting on a reward.
