That appeal is not universal: some excerpts question how much depth the game sustains, so players seeking extensive variety should treat this as a point of disagreement rather than a guaranteed strength.
Dark-fantasy presentation has a clear audience

Is SWORN good solo, or better with friends?

Which platform should you choose?
The review excerpts do not establish that one version is better-performing or otherwise superior. Choose based on where your group plays, the listed player count, and the platform’s online requirements rather than inferring a technical advantage from the available scores.

SWORN is a stronger fit if you want a dark-fantasy action roguelite to play cooperatively and enjoy trying combat builds as you progress. It is a less certain choice if your priorities are a distinctive new take on the genre, a substantial story, or a consistently engaging solo campaign. The scores and excerpts available across PC, PS5, and Xbox show varied critical reactions, so a single platform score should not stand in for your preferred way to play.
