What Tabletop TD is and when you can play it
Tabletop TD is a tabletop-themed tower-defense game from hummmmmmm, published by Leveritt Studio. Steam describes its central idea as “A tabletop tower defense where every draw is a gamble.” You spend coins to draw random towers, merge those towers into later eras, and defend against 30 waves. After the standard run, Endless mode lets you continue. The game supports solo play and online co-op for as many as four players.

The full Windows game is planned for November 2026. SteamDB identifies the full title with app ID 5154200 and lists Windows as its supported system. A separate free demo released on 8 October 2026. SteamDB lists Unity technology and both single-player and online-co-op categories for that demo. The demo can be useful for checking whether your hardware launches and renders the game, but performance in the demo should not be treated as a promise about the final build.

All six rows describe the developer’s published baseline. Because no named CPU or GPU models are supplied, a component’s age or model number alone cannot establish performance. Check the actual operating-system architecture, API support, memory, video memory, and free disk space on your machine.
How to check your PC before installing
1. Confirm Windows edition, version, and 64-bit architecture
- Press
Windows+R, typewinver, and press Enter. Read the Windows version and build in the About Windows dialog. Windows 10 must be version 21H1 with build 19043 or newer; any current Windows 11 release meets the stated version floor. - Open Settings → System → About. Under Device specifications, find System type. It should say a 64-bit operating system and an x64-based processor. A 32-bit Windows installation fails the listed requirement even if the computer has 8 GB of physical memory.
- If you need the exact build in a script or support report, run
systeminfoin Command Prompt and record the OS name, version, and system type.
The requirement is tied to the installed Windows architecture, not just to whether the CPU is technically capable of 64-bit operation. Upgrading from 32-bit Windows normally requires a clean installation, so back up personal files and verify that your hardware has 64-bit drivers before taking that route.
2. Check x64 and SSE2 CPU support
- Open Settings → System → About and note the processor model. You can also open Task Manager → Performance → CPU to see the model and current hardware details.
- In PowerShell, run
(Get-CimInstance Win32_Processor).AddressWidth. A result of64confirms that Windows reports a 64-bit address width;32does not meet the x64 requirement. - Check the processor manufacturer’s specification for the exact model and confirm SSE2 support. The Steam listing does not name a minimum Intel or AMD model, and standard Windows screens do not provide a universal SSE2 status field.
SSE2 is an instruction-set requirement, separate from clock speed. A processor can have a high advertised frequency yet still be unsuitable if it lacks the required instruction set. Conversely, the listing gives no basis for saying that a particular number of cores, GHz rating, or CPU generation is required.

3. Verify installed RAM
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+Escto open Task Manager. - Select Performance → Memory and read the total installed memory. It should be at least 8 GB.
- Close heavy applications before testing the game. The 8 GB figure is installed system memory, not the amount free at a particular moment.
Windows may reserve a portion of RAM for hardware, integrated graphics, or background services. A computer marketed as having 8 GB can therefore show less than 8 GB available to applications. That does not change the published requirement, but it can leave less headroom for the game, voice chat, browsers, or a four-player session.
4. Check GPU model, VRAM, and DirectX 11
- Press
Windows+R, enterdxdiag, and press Enter. Select the Display or Render tab for the active GPU. - Record the GPU name and the Display Memory (VRAM) value. The listed minimum is 2 GB of VRAM.
- On the System tab, read DirectX Version. The listing calls for DirectX 11, while the GPU and driver must also expose the required feature support.
- Install the current stable driver supplied for your GPU, restart Windows, and run
dxdiagagain if the display tab reports errors or an outdated driver.
Do not confuse shared system memory with dedicated VRAM. Integrated graphics can borrow ordinary RAM, but the Steam requirement is written as a GPU with 2 GB VRAM and does not explain whether a particular shared-memory configuration qualifies. If dxdiag shows less than 2 GB of dedicated video memory, treat the machine as below the published baseline unless the developer clarifies how that configuration is supported.
5. Check free storage
- Open File Explorer → This PC and look at the free-space figure for the drive where Steam installs games.
- Ensure at least 2 GB is available before installation. Leave extra capacity for the Steam download, unpacking, patches, shader caches, save data, and Windows temporary files.
- In Steam, choose Settings → Storage to confirm the selected library drive and its remaining capacity before starting the install.
The published 2 GB value is a minimum available-space figure, not a recommendation to fill a drive to its last gigabyte. A nearly full system or game drive can cause installation and update failures even when the nominal requirement is met.

Does meeting the minimum mean it will run smoothly?
It means your configuration matches the developer’s stated entry point. It does not establish a frame-rate target. The current Steam page shows a “Recommended” heading without complete recommended CPU, RAM, GPU, or storage values. No authoritative source in the available information specifies 60 frames per second, a target resolution, a graphics preset, a minimum refresh rate, or performance during four-player co-op.
That distinction matters for borderline systems. A PC can pass every checklist item and still need reduced resolution, lower visual settings, or a frame-rate cap once the final build is released. At present there is no independent benchmark or published performance statistic from which to predict those settings. The most defensible conclusion is therefore binary: clearing every listed minimum matches the compatibility baseline; real-world smoothness remains unverified.
What to do if your PC is below a requirement
Windows version or architecture is too old
Update Windows through Settings → Windows Update and recheck winver. If the machine remains on 32-bit Windows, confirm that the processor is x64-capable and that 64-bit drivers exist before considering a clean 64-bit installation. If the hardware cannot support a current 64-bit Windows environment, it is below the published platform requirement.

RAM is below 8 GB
Close background applications only as a temporary diagnostic; it does not turn 4 GB or 6 GB into 8 GB of installed memory. Check the motherboard or laptop’s maximum supported memory, available slots, and memory type, then install a compatible kit that brings the total to at least 8 GB. On a laptop with soldered memory, replacement may not be possible, making a different PC the practical solution.
GPU has less than 2 GB VRAM or lacks DirectX 11
First confirm that Windows is using the intended discrete GPU rather than a basic display adapter, and install the current driver. If the hardware itself has under 2 GB of VRAM or does not expose DirectX 11, a compatible graphics-card upgrade is the direct remedy on a desktop. Check the power supply, case clearance, slot type, and connector requirements before buying. On many laptops the GPU cannot be upgraded, so compare the machine against the requirement rather than assuming a driver can add missing VRAM.

Storage is insufficient
Choose Settings → System → Storage to remove temporary files, or move another Steam library to a drive with more capacity. Keep working room after the installation; a drive that reaches zero free space can interrupt updates and degrade general Windows operation.

Demo, final game, and platform caveats
The free demo released on 8 October 2026 is separate from the planned November 2026 full release. It can answer practical questions the requirements table cannot, such as whether your current driver launches the Unity build, whether menus render correctly, and whether your system remains responsive during a short session. Treat those observations as build-specific: an early demo may differ from the final game in content, optimization, memory use, and networking.
No source currently confirms Steam Deck, Linux, or macOS support for the full game. The available listing identifies Windows as the supported system. Do not assume that a Windows minimum automatically applies to Proton, SteamOS, Linux, or macOS, and do not infer handheld performance from the existence of the demo.
Can your PC run Tabletop TD? A practical decision rule
- Likely meets the published baseline: Windows 10 64-bit version 21H1/build 19043 or newer (or Windows 11), x64 CPU with SSE2, at least 8 GB RAM, a DirectX 11-capable GPU with at least 2 GB VRAM, and at least 2 GB free on the Steam library drive.
- Below the baseline: any one of those checks fails. The official requirements do not provide an alternative low-spec mode or a supported workaround.
- Baseline met, performance uncertain: every check passes, but the machine’s frame rate, resolution, graphics preset, and co-op behavior cannot be predicted from the published information because recommended specifications and measured targets are not available.
- Need evidence now: test the separate demo on the intended Windows installation, keep drivers current, and record the result without treating it as a guarantee for the November full release.
As of 18 October 2026, that is the most accurate answer to “Can my PC run Tabletop TD?” A compliant Windows PC should satisfy the game’s stated minimum hardware and software conditions, while any stronger performance claim must wait for complete recommended specifications or reliable measurements from the final build.
