Pocket Gamer’s broad Tap Force tier list, updated September 4, 2026 for version 3.49.0, places Yomi as the latest addition and ranks 25 fighters in S tier. The list is a third-party general guide—not an official in-game ranking or a promise that the same fighters are best in every mode.
Tap Force tier list (September 4, 2026)
The placements below reproduce Pocket Gamer’s “Tap Force tier list of all characters that you can pick,” attributed to Mihail Katsoris and updated for version 3.49.0 on September 4, 2026. Pocket Gamer identifies Yomi as the latest addition. The source gives tier letters and names, but does not publish a detailed method for ordering fighters within a tier; characters within a tier are therefore listed as presented, not as a proven strongest-to-weakest sequence. See Pocket Gamer’s dated tier list.

How to use the tiers for your team
Tap Force is a turn-based, auto-battle team game with several modes. A high general tier is a useful starting point, but it does not settle who belongs in your lineup. The companion Combat Codex guide describes teams of five or six fighters, six factions, a rock-paper-scissors advantage relationship among the four main factions, and roles including tank, brawler, finisher, mage, and support. Use those factors alongside your available fighters and progression rather than treating the letter as a stand-alone verdict. Combat Codex’s Tap Force guide is an unofficial fan resource, not an official developer source.
Rank #3
- 13.8-INCH (30 CM) MARVEL ACTION FIGURE: This large-scale Galactus toy features deco and design inspired by Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
- POSEABLE FIGURE: Marvel Titan Hero Series Fantastic Four toys feature 11 points of articulation, so kids can pose them for world-saving (or world-eating) adventures they imagine
- ICONIC CHARACTERS: Marvel Titan Hero Series Fantastic Four Super Hero action figures feature iconic fan-favorite characters, including Marvel’s The Thing and Galactus
- COLLECTIBLE PACKAGING: This Marvel’s Galactus action figure comes in a Fantastic Four-themed window box package that features retro-inspired design, which will look awesome on display
- ENCOURAGES IMAGINITIVE PLAY: Marvel Fantastic Four toys for boys and girls ages 4 and up encourage creative, imaginative play, allowing them to tell their own superpowered stories and battles
- Mode: Consider what the activity rewards. Combat Codex highlights Spekkio for Mech Event; Pyra for Campaign; Teryx and Necro for Mech; Otto for Mech and Hard Mode; Lily for Club Smash; and Karma for Sewers and Hard Mode. These are guide recommendations, not independently verified performance results.
- Faction matchup: Check the opposing team’s faction and the game’s advantage relationship before choosing a fighter. A broadly ranked character can be a poor matchup into a particular opponent.
- Role and synergy: Build a functioning lineup with complementary jobs rather than filling every slot with the highest-ranked names. Consider whether the team has the roles it needs and whether the fighters work together.
- Account resources: Compare a candidate with fighters you have already developed. A tier placement alone does not establish that spending scarce upgrade resources on a new or underdeveloped character is worthwhile for your current team.
What the ranking does—and does not—show
This is a third-party universal tier list, not an official ranking built into Tap Force. It offers no published character win rates, strength statistics, or detailed tier methodology, so the letters should be read as an editorial overview rather than a measured guarantee. There is no useful attributable statistic in the cited sources that proves a fighter’s tier performance.
The date matters: Google Play lists a September 1, 2026 update that added Yomi of the Cobra faction, and Pocket Gamer’s September 4 list names Yomi as its latest addition. Check the current in-game roster and version if you are reading this after a later update; new releases or balance changes can make a dated third-party list stale. Google Play listing for Tap Force.
