Tapas will end service on March 31, 2027, and readers will lose access to previously unlocked episodes—including Solo Leveling content they read through Tapas. The platform says Ink purchases are final and non-refundable, but its general refund policy allows for possible case-by-case exceptions in special circumstances.
What is happening to Solo Leveling on Tapas?
Tapas announced on October 1, 2026, that it is ending service. The closure affects access to the platform as a whole, not just Solo Leveling. Tapas says users will no longer be able to access the platform or previously unlocked content after service ends. That describes the loss of access through Tapas; it does not establish that every story file is being deleted from publisher archives or that the series will disappear from every other legal service.
Tapas has not confirmed where Solo Leveling will be available digitally after the closure, or what will happen to each title’s licensing. Its FAQ says Tapas purchases cannot be transferred to Kakao Page, Kakao Webtoon, or another platform. An account-data export would not preserve access to the comics.
When is the last day to read or use Ink?
Tapas’s end-of-service date is March 31, 2027, at 23:59 Pacific Time. The FAQ identifies that as the last time to access content, unlock episodes, or use remaining Ink.

Tapas stopped allowing users to acquire additional Ink on October 1, 2026, including free Ink through the app. The company says it has no current plans for further sales or events, and Ink prices will remain unchanged. Readers with a balance can use it to unlock available episodes before the deadline; after service ends, remaining Ink and Tapas access will be unavailable.
Can Tapas users get refunds?
Tapas’s End of Service FAQ says Ink transactions are final and non-refundable. Its broader Refund Policy, however, says that although Tapas has a no-refund policy, special circumstances may warrant a refund or adjustment on a case-by-case basis. That is not a promise that a closure-related refund will be granted, and the published policy does not settle every customer’s legal rights in every jurisdiction.
- For a purchase processed through Apple or Google, Tapas directs users to contact the relevant app store about payment problems.
- For a PayPal purchase, Tapas directs users to contact its support team with the receipt.

Will creators keep publishing until the shutdown?
Tapas says creators may continue publishing for now, and titles may remain on the platform through the closure unless they are removed earlier. Whether a creator can publish elsewhere or is bound by exclusivity depends on that creator’s individual agreement with Tapas.

What can Solo Leveling readers do now?
- Check your Tapas library and Ink balance. If you want to unlock available episodes or spend Ink, do so by March 31, 2027, at 23:59 PT.
- Do not count on moving your unlocks. Tapas says unlocked content cannot transfer to Kakao Page, Kakao Webtoon, or another service.
- Consider print separately. A print volume is a separate physical purchase, not a way to migrate Tapas episodes or retain a digital Tapas library. Confirm the edition’s language and current availability before buying; a print listing does not establish where the series will be available digitally after the shutdown.
- Raise payment issues through the appropriate route. Use Apple or Google for purchases they processed, or contact Tapas with a PayPal receipt. Tapas’s stated no-refund rule does not guarantee an exception.
The official Tapas FAQ, posted September 30 and updated October 1, 2026, is the controlling source for its access and closure terms. Because Tapas says it may update the FAQ, check it for any changes before the shutdown.
