The complete Magic: The Gathering Tarkir: Dragonstorm card list is organized into three distinct groups: the main set (TDM), Commander cards (TDC), and Special Guests (SPG). Wizards of the Coast’s official cardlist PDF is the definitive checklist for card names and collector numbers across all three groups. The tabletop set released April 11, 2025.
Where to find the complete Tarkir: Dragonstorm card list
Use Wizards’ Tarkir: Dragonstorm cardlist PDF for the complete checklist. It separates the release into three set codes rather than treating every card and treatment as one list:
- TDM: the main Tarkir: Dragonstorm set.
- TDC: cards associated with the Commander decks.
- SPG: the Special Guests subset.
The PDF is the best reference when you need an exact card name or collector number. Reprints and alternate art treatments do not create a different card identity, so keep the checklist separate from galleries that group cards by artwork or frame.
What cards are in the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander decks?
Wizards published complete decklists for all five preconstructed decks. Each deck is themed around a Tarkir clan and has a three-color identity:

The linked announcement contains the full card-by-card lists, including each deck’s commanders. Wizards describes each product as a ready-to-play 100-card deck with two foil borderless legendary creatures, ten double-sided tokens, a Collector Booster Sample Pack, and a deck box. For choosing between them, start with the clan and colors you want to play, then compare the commanders and gameplay themes in the official lists against your collection and preferred play style.
Who are the Special Guests in Tarkir: Dragonstorm?
Tarkir: Dragonstorm has ten Special Guests cards, identified by the SPG set code. They are previously printed cards, not additional new cards in the main TDM set or the Commander TDC lists. Wizards’ product guide describes the selection as five enemy-color fetch lands and five Ultimatums from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, with new Tarkir-themed art. The official checklist gives the exact ten names; consult it rather than inferring the full lineup from a partial image gallery.

Wizards stated that a Play Booster had a 1.5% chance of containing a non-foil Special Guests card in place of a common. That is a chance for an SPG card, not a guarantee of any particular Special Guest. The product guide also distinguishes Play Booster and Collector Booster collation; check its treatment details if you are collecting a specific finish.
Card names versus alternate treatments
The release includes several visual treatments, including dragon’s presence full-art basic lands, dragon’s eye basic lands, showcase ghostfire versions, borderless clan cards, draconic frame cards, borderless story cards, and alternate treatments for Commander cards. These are presentation variants, not a reason to merge the three set-code lists or count every image as a separate card identity.

Wizards’ product guide explains which treatments appear in which products and notes that some are limited to Collector Boosters. Booster contents are randomized, and Play Boosters and Collector Boosters do not have identical collation. If your goal is a particular card rather than opening packs, the official checklist helps distinguish the card from its treatments.
