How Team Vision secured the championship
The tournament used a match-point system, so accumulating the highest total did not by itself decide the exact moment the championship was won. Under the official 2025 World Series of Warzone rules, squads earned points across maps, and reaching a threshold announced before the final made a squad eligible to win. The first eligible squad to place first on a subsequent map became champion.

Event date, field, and prize
Activision’s July 29, 2025 event preview announced that the Global Final would return to Las Vegas on October 1, with 50 trios competing for a $1 million prize pool. The rules specify a $1,000,000 total schedule and $300,000 for the winning squad, or $100,000 per player. The preview and rules also identify match point as the format for the final.
