Tears of the Kingdom: All 12 Additional Stone Tablet Locations

Find the 12 additional stone tablets for Messages from an Ancient Era at the coordinates below, then photograph each one and report the pictures to Wortsworth in Kakariko Village. The locations are flower-shaped sky islands spread across Hyrule, and several routes call for stamina preparation or specific gear.

How to start Messages from an Ancient Era

At Lookout Landing, speak with Wortsworth after he examines a stone tablet that fell from the sky. Meet him next in Kakariko Village. He explains the inscriptions and asks Link to find and photograph 12 more tablets. Show the photographs to Wortsworth in Kakariko Village as you find them.

The count can be confusing: the quest text describes 13 tablets documenting the Age of Legends in total. This guide lists the 12 additional tablets Link must locate; the first is the tablet at Lookout Landing.

The small, flower-shaped islands are scattered across the sky. Skyview Towers and other elevated launch points make reaching them easier, but stamina, unlocked towers, and available devices can change which route is practical.

Use the coordinates as the primary locator. The route notes are options, not requirements; bring stamina-restoring food or plan to use intermediate islands if a long glide is beyond your current stamina.

1. East Hebra Sky Archipelago — -1365, 3577, 0904

   West of North Lomei Castle Top Floor. Launch from Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, glide north to a nearby platform, then use its launcher to continue.

2. West Hebra Sky Archipelago — -4043, 3204, 0444

   West of the Rising Island Chain. Glide over from the Wind Temple or the Rising Island Chain.

4. North Hyrule Sky Archipelago — -0042, 2993, 1494

   Southeast of North Lomei Castle Top Floor, above the Great Hyrule Forest. Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower is the recommended launch point.

5. Sokkala Sky Archipelago — 3578, 1747, 1354

   Above Akkala and north of the Water Temple. Glide from Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower; this route demands substantial stamina.

6. North Gerudo Sky Archipelago — -3606, -0932, 1594

   Near Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. Launch there and glide north.

7. West Necluda Sky Archipelago — 0476, -2249, 0394

   South of Great Sky Island. Travel south from Great Sky Island using Wings and fans, or launch from Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and glide east.

8. Lanayru Sky Archipelago — 2915, 0205, 0783

   Southwest of the Water Temple. Glide from the Water Temple or Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.

9. Necluda Sea Sky — 3918, -2469, 1194

   Glide south from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. The route guide recommends more than two and a half stamina wheels, or stamina-boosting or stamina-restoring food.

10. East Necluda Sky Archipelago — 2082, -2728, 1334

    From Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, glide west toward a waterfall and use Zora Armor to swim up. Build a hot-air balloon on the island, ride upward, then glide south.

11. South Hyrule Sky Archipelago — -1241, -1935, 0979

    Launch from Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and glide east. Two stamina wheels are ideal, though you can stop at intermediate islands.

    Far south, northwest of South Lomei Sky Castle. Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is one launch option; the route guide recommends at least two stamina wheels.

Report the photos to Wortsworth

Return to Wortsworth in Kakariko Village and show him each tablet photograph. Nintendo Life’s 2023 guide reports a reward of 100 rupees per tablet photo, for 1,200 rupees across all 12 reports. Completing the set also awards the Zonai Survey Team Fabric for the paraglider.
