This guide covers the depot puzzles, riding and equipping the Construct, and the next step toward the Spirit Temple.
How Mineru’s Construct quest works
The quest begins after you find Mineru’s head and follow its guidance to the Construct Factory. There, you’ll learn that the body is missing four limbs. Each nearby depot gives you a limb in a box, then shuts its exit; solve the transport puzzle to carry that box back to the factory. The order below follows a detailed walkthrough, but you may reach the quest after exploring the area in a different way.
If you need a reminder of your current objective, Nintendo Support recommends checking started and completed quests in the Adventure Log. Nintendo also notes that “Every player’s exploration experience will be different.” (Nintendo Support: General Tips for Playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.)
Return the four limbs to the Construct Factory
At each depot, use Ultrahand to move the boxed limb through the facility and back to the factory. The vehicles described here are practical ways to solve the routes; adapt them to the parts and devices available to you. The optional chests mentioned are rewards noted in the walkthrough, not requirements for assembling the Construct.

Right Leg Depot
Head northeast from the factory to the Right Leg Depot. Use the lifts to reach the upper route, then use a hook to carry the box along the rail. Build a flying vehicle to transport the part back to the factory. An optional chest in this depot contains 3 zonaite.
Left Leg Depot
At the Left Leg Depot, use a rocket-assisted ramp to reach the upper ledge. From there, carry the box or build a vehicle to get it back to the factory. The walkthrough notes an optional chest containing 3 zonaite.
Rank #2
- Ultrahand: Using the new Ultrahand ability, Link can pick up, move, and rotate almost any object, and can even attach objects together to create bridges, vehicles, and more!
- Fuse: Magically fuse almost any object to Link’s current weapon, shield, or arrow to increase durability, damage, or even add a new effect. Experiment with lots of different combinations to come up with surprising—and sometimes hilarious—results!
- Ascend: Add a new dimension to your exploration with Ascend, which gives Link the ability to pass through solid objects above him. Rise up through ceilings, hillsides, and even certain enemies to create seemingly impossible shortcuts.
- Recall: Use Recall to make objects in motion move backward through time, letting Link ride fallen boulders skyward, recover thrown weapons, or send projectiles back where they came from.
Left Arm Depot
Build a wheeled vehicle to move the box across the lava. Reconfigure the vehicle to fit through the narrow passage, then use a raft to carry the part back. Optional chests noted in the walkthrough include one with 5 Steering Sticks and another with 3 zonaite.
Right Arm Depot
Use the conveyor and small wheels to move the box through the depot. Once you have the part, construct a vehicle to leave and return it to the factory. The walkthrough also notes an optional large zonaite chest here.

How to ride and equip Mineru’s Construct
Once all four limbs are delivered, the Construct is assembled. Approach it and use the on-screen interaction prompt to mount. Riding consumes Energy Cells, and the Construct can cross gloom. Follow the prompts shown in your game for the current control scheme rather than relying on button instructions that may differ by platform or edition.
You can attach objects to the Construct’s arms and back, but their roles differ: arm attachments are used for attacks or other direct actions, while back attachments affect movement. Choose equipment for the obstacle or fight ahead, and remember that attached items wear out.

| Attachment location | Useful purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Arms | Combat effects or breaking obstacles | Spiked ball for melee impact; Flame Emitter for an elemental effect; ranged weapon for attacking at a distance; rock-breaking tool for stone. |
| Back | Mobility and traversal | Fan for speed; rocket for vertical lift. |
These are situational examples, not a ranked or mandatory loadout. The available guidance does not establish comparative damage or a universally best setup.
Continue to the Spirit Temple
After the Construct is assembled, use it to follow the route onward toward the Spirit Temple. The path includes a rocket-assisted ascent. The next major encounter in this sequence is the Seized Construct fight.
