What was in the Tekken 8 winter update?
Bandai Namco dated version 2.08’s patch notes December 2, 2025; distribution was scheduled to begin December 1 in PST and December 2 in CET. The version number moved from 2.06.02 to 2.08, skipping 2.07. The update’s main content was paid DLC support for Miary Zo and the Baobab Horizon battle stage. Bandai Namco’s version 2.08 notes also list TEKKEN FIGHT PASS -ROUND 8-, a Miary Zo avatar skin, a special-deal event, and anniversary items.

The notes set early access for December 1, 2025 in PST and December 2 in CET, followed by general access on December 4 in PST and December 5 in CET. These are historical release dates, not a statement of current availability or price.

The character and stage had different access routes, so owning a character pass did not necessarily include the stage. The patch notes describe the options available at that release; they do not establish current store listings.

Replay and ghost-data effects
- Downloaded replay data created before the update would no longer be playable.
- All prior online replay data would be deleted.
- Character behavior and performance adjustments would be reflected in ghost data, but ghost data itself would not be deleted.
- A fix for an incorrectly displayed maximum Player Match win streak would take effect after reconnecting online following maintenance.
When did Miary Zo come out in Tekken 8?
Miary Zo arrived with version 2.08’s staged release: early access was scheduled for December 1, 2025 in PST and December 2 in CET; general access was scheduled for December 4 in PST and December 5 in CET. Bandai Namco followed with version 2.08.01 on December 16, 2025. The follow-up’s stated purpose was to correct Miary Zo behavior after her release in version 2.08.00. Its version 2.08.01 notes repeat the warning that older downloaded replays would not play and older online replay data would be deleted, while ghost data would remain.

Is this the same as the Season 3 winter character?
No. Version 2.08 was the December 2025 update. A separate official Season 3 roadmap says the season was scheduled to run from February 2026 through winter 2027. It lists Kunimitsu for late spring 2026, Bob for summer 2026, Roger Jr. for autumn 2026, and a fourth character for winter 2027, with that character still “to be announced.” A new stage is also listed for winter 2027 and is likewise to be announced. Those roadmap entries are future plans, not additions to version 2.08.
