Tennis Elbow 4 is a tennis simulation for PC built around anticipation, positioning, shot choice and rally risk. Developed and published by Mana Games, it pairs detailed match play with a long World Tour career and adjustable assists. The Steam listing gives its full release date as January 23, 2026, following an Early Access period that began June 4, 2021.
What is Tennis Elbow 4?
Tennis Elbow 4 is a simulation rather than a pick-up-and-swing arcade game. Its match model emphasizes reading the incoming ball, moving into position early, accounting for player inertia, selecting a shot and judging how much risk to take. Mana Games describes reworked ball, strike and player physics as central to the game.
The Steam description calls it “a deep tennis simulation that can be enjoyed at many levels.” That flexibility comes in part from assists: Auto-Positioning, Footwork Boost and Aiming Preview can help new players, and can be reduced as they become more comfortable with timing and control.
How extensive is the World Tour?
The Steam listing describes a World Tour with more than 3,500 players evolving across 70 years, from 1973 for men and 1983 for women through 2042, and more than 400 tournaments each year. These are publisher-listed figures for in-game content, not independent statistics about real-world tennis.

Online matches use peer-to-peer connections without a relay server. A player who cannot host because of CGNAT or an inability to forward a UDP port or use UPnP may still be able to join someone else’s hosted game.
A PC game controller is optional, not a stated requirement. It may suit controller input or local play, and Mana Games’ update archive discusses controller selection and input, but no particular model or platform-specific compatibility is established here.
