To craft the Zenith in Terraria on PC, bring ten specific swords to a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil: Terra Blade, Meowmere, Star Wrath, Influx Waver, The Horseman’s Blade, Seedler, Starfury, Bee Keeper, Enchanted Sword, and Copper Shortsword. It is a post-Moon Lord weapon, so it is an endgame crafting goal rather than an early upgrade.
Zenith recipe and crafting station
Use the following ten swords together at either a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil. The recipe is exact: similar weapons do not automatically count as substitutes.

When you can get Zenith
Zenith is a Hardmode, post-Moon Lord melee weapon. In ordinary progression, that means you craft it after defeating the Moon Lord, the game’s final boss. It is best treated as a completion goal: the final recipe asks for several swords gathered from different points in the game, as well as the Terra Blade chain.
#1 Best Overall
- Build up a hospital from nothing to a masterpiece as you design the most beautiful – or functional – healthcare operation in the whole of Two Point County.
- Optimise your hospital design to increase patient (and cash) flow, arranging corridors, rooms and waiting areas to your exact specifications.
- Expand your hospital to multiple buildings as you look to get as many patients through the door as possible.
- Place decorative and functional items around your hospital to improve its prestige, lower patient boredom, increase happiness and keep those end of year awards flowing in.
- Features two great expansions, 21 hospitals and 119 very unusual illnesses!
How to make the Terra Blade
Terra Blade is one of Zenith’s ten required swords. Its crafting branch combines earlier blade upgrades and eventually requires a Broken Hero Sword. Work through these stages:
- Make Night’s Edge. At an Altar, combine a Light’s Bane or Blood Butcherer, Blade of Grass, Muramasa, and Volcano.
- Make Excalibur. Craft it using Hallowed Bars obtained from the mechanical bosses.
- Upgrade Night’s Edge to True Night’s Edge. Combine Night’s Edge with 20 Souls of Sight, 20 Souls of Might, and 20 Souls of Fright.
- Upgrade Excalibur to True Excalibur. Combine Excalibur with 24 Chlorophyte Bars.
- Craft Terra Blade. At a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil, combine True Night’s Edge, True Excalibur, and a Broken Hero Sword.
Mothron can drop the Broken Hero Sword during a Solar Eclipse after Plantera has been defeated. The drop is not guaranteed in every eclipse, so you may need to fight Mothron more than once.
Do not substitute Tin Shortsword for Copper Shortsword
Copper Shortsword is mandatory for the Zenith recipe; Tin Shortsword does not work in its place. Characters normally start with a Copper Shortsword, but Journey Mode characters start with an Iron Shortsword instead. If you no longer have the required sword, craft one from 5 Copper Bars, which require 15 Copper Ore, at an Anvil.
A world with Tin instead of Copper can make that recovery less direct. Possible routes listed in the crafting guide include using an Extractinator, obtaining Copper from another world, finding it through slimes or crates, using Shimmer transmutation, or using a Chlorophyte Extractinator.

What Zenith does
Zenith is a melee weapon whose thrown sword projectiles travel toward the cursor and return. They can pass through blocks, pierce enemies, and home in on nearby targets. Except for the first sword fired, projectiles home in on enemies within 20 tiles of the cursor.
The game lists Zenith’s base melee damage as 190, its critical chance as 14%, and its knockback as 6.5. These are in-game item values; actual combat results depend on the character and game conditions.
Recipe history and version context
The Official Terraria Wiki records Zenith’s introduction in Desktop 1.4.0.1 and the addition of Bee Keeper to its recipe in Desktop 1.4.0.3. Its Desktop 1.4.5.7 history entry describes visual adjustments to several component swords, not a recipe change. The wiki’s source note refers to Desktop 1.4.5.8 as current, so the visual update should not be mistaken for a new Zenith recipe.
