When did Terraria 1.4.5 come out?

Crafting and inventory management
The update introduces a redesigned crafting interface and inventory-management improvements. One highlighted convenience is the ability to use materials from nearby chests when crafting, reducing the need to move those ingredients into the player’s inventory first.
World seeds and crossover content

What is Terraria’s current 1.4.5 patch status?
The initial release was followed by platform-specific patch work. In an August 19, 2026 update, Re-Logic described version 1.4.5.7 as a PC hotfix covering balance, changes to existing items, some new items, and bug fixes; console and mobile submissions were being handled separately. This means patch timing and version parity should not be assumed to be identical across platforms.

On September 24, Re-Logic said the team was completing Crossplay Phase One alongside remaining fixes associated with 1.4.5.8. The update reported work in progress, not a public crossplay release date. The dated status information appears in Terraria’s official State of the Game and update posts.
When is Terraria getting crossplay?
Re-Logic had not announced a crossplay launch date in its September 24, 2026 status update. It said Crossplay Phase One was being completed while 1.4.5.8 fixes were also underway. That is the latest dated status covered here; it should not be treated as a scheduled release window or a guarantee that all platforms will receive crossplay at once.
What about Terraria’s anniversary products?
In June 2026, Re-Logic announced a 15th Anniversary Collector’s Edition. Its official updates also referenced Terraria merchandise and the Terraria board game. These are separate physical-product announcements, not features included in version 1.4.5; current retailer stock or listings are not established by those announcements.
