The Zenith is an endgame melee weapon in Terraria. Its final recipe combines ten named swords at either a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil—but those ten ingredients are not the whole crafting journey. The Official Terraria Wiki reports that the complete tree requires 18 swords, counting the materials used to make the Terra Blade.

The Official Terraria Wiki describes the Zenith as the most powerful endgame melee weapon and lists it at 190 melee damage. Why the crafting goal is bigger than ten swords
The final recipe does not show every item needed along the way. The Official Terraria Wiki’s crafting guide says the full tree requires 18 swords overall, including the materials used to craft the Terra Blade. How the Zenith attacks
The Official Terraria Wiki says the swords home in on enemies within a 20-tile radius of the cursor, except for the first sword fired. This describes the wiki’s account of the weapon’s behavior; it is not an independently tested measurement here. Official Terraria Wiki: Zenith

PC version notes
The available guide is labeled for Desktop, Console, and Mobile. A separate wiki search result notes that Desktop 1.4.4 adjusted how often the Zenith’s swing sound effect plays, but that historical sound change does not establish the current PC version or prove that no later changes occurred.
