For Fracture, start with Breach, Brimstone, Neon, Fade, or Cypher. They offer tools that suit the map’s split routes, tight corridors, chokepoints, and multiple approaches. That is a map-fit shortlist, not a proven ranking: a broad 2026 stats snapshot instead puts Phoenix first by win rate, followed by Fade and Raze.
Why agent utility matters on Fracture
Fracture’s divided attack routes and network of corridors and chokepoints reward agents who can clear close angles, help teammates enter, control sightlines, rotate quickly, or watch approaches. Your best pick depends both on how your utility helps the team and on whether you can execute it reliably.

Riot’s Patch 12.05, published March 17, 2026, listed Fracture in the Competitive and Deathmatch queues, with Abyss and Corrode out of the pool. Map pools rotate, so check Riot’s Patch 12.05 notes for that dated status rather than assuming it remains current.

Breach: clear tight corridors and help entries
Breach’s abilities can clear through walls, making him a natural fit for Fracture’s tight corridors and contested angles. His utility can help teammates take space without requiring a direct line of sight to every target.
Brimstone: cover chokepoints and support a hit
Brimstone can use several smokes to cover chokepoints and a molly to pressure or clear an area. That combination can help a team execute through a narrow approach or deny space during a push.
Rank #2
- HIGH-PRECISION 6,400 DPI OPTICAL SENSOR — Offers on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment through dedicated DPI buttons (reprogrammable) for gaming and creative work
- DURABLE MECHANICAL SWITCHES — Supports up to 10 million clicks

Neon: move between split attack routes
Neon’s speed makes her useful when a team needs to rotate quickly between Fracture’s separated attack paths. Her value is greatest when the player can turn that mobility into timely pressure rather than rotating without a coordinated plan.

Cypher: watch multiple approaches
Cypher can monitor multiple entry points, helping a team keep track of approaches while players focus elsewhere. This is particularly useful when the team needs coverage across more than one route.

How to choose an agent or team composition
There is no single composition established as best for every Fracture match by the available figures. Build around the jobs your team needs covered, then choose agents your players can execute comfortably.

Riot’s September 2022 State of the Agents article said, “Breach’s strength on Fracture has upped his pick rate, and KAY/O is starting to rise in Competitive play.” That is useful historical context for Breach, not current pick-rate evidence. Riot also described an agent’s non-mirror win rate across multiple MMR tiers and maps as one starting lens for assessing power; it did not present that as a complete account of its balance process.
Fracture layout context
Riot’s Patch 5.07 notes, published October 4, 2022, documented several Fracture layout changes: B Site’s “Jump” became a ramp directly onto the site platform, space at B Generator was tightened, a small Defender Spawn cubby was removed, and a corner in A Halls was removed. These notes provide dated context only; they do not establish that no later layout changes occurred. See Riot’s Patch 5.07 notes.
How to read agent statistics without overrating them
A high win rate is an observation about a particular sample, not a complete agent recommendation. MetaBot.GG’s cited table combines all ranks and regions, and does not tell you how an agent performs for your rank, on a particular side, or in a coordinated composition. Riot’s own historical explanation also points to map and MMR-tier context as relevant lenses.
Quick Recap
- Check whether the data is for Fracture and competitive play, rather than another map or mode.
- Look at the sample’s date, size, rank and regional coverage before applying its figures to your matches.
- Use win rate alongside pick rate and map-utility fit; neither statistic alone establishes what you should play.
- Account for your comfort and your team’s plan, which a broad aggregated table cannot measure for you.
