Check Industrial loot containers throughout those areas; at Power Generation Complex, shelves and carts are specifically noted as places to look. Scrap Yard is a useful alternative if you can sweep Car Hoods. None of these locations guarantees a battery.
Best Industrial Battery locations on Dam Battlegrounds
Dam Battlegrounds has the clearest concentration of named locations in the available guides. Hydroponic Dome Complex and Power Generation Complex are the most direct starting points because both are specifically named for Industrial Batteries by the ARC Raiders Wiki and Shacknews.
Hydroponic Dome Complex
Search the area’s Industrial loot containers. A general farming guide describes the complex as a high-density area for crafting materials, but does not report a battery-specific yield. Treat it as a strong place to check, not a proven high-rate spawn.
Power Generation Complex
Search Industrial loot containers, paying particular attention to shelves and carts, which the item listing identifies as possible places to find the battery. This is the most specific container guidance available for either primary destination.

Scrap Yard is a practical choice if your route can include Car Hoods: the item page lists Car Hood as a source, and a DamnModz guide recommends sweeping them here. That makes Scrap Yard a convenient route option, not a verified best-by-drop-rate location.

Shacknews lists both as possible Industrial loot zones. DamnModz also names them as fallback choices when your position, competition, or prior looting makes the main route less convenient.

If Dam Battlegrounds does not fit your spawn or extraction plan, the Shacknews location guide names these other possible Industrial zones. The sources do not provide drop rates for them.

The guide characterizes some warehouse locations at map edges as potentially safer but less likely to provide the desired loot. That is a broad route consideration, not a measured comparison of battery odds.

How to plan a run
- Choose the map area that suits your spawn and exit. Dam Battlegrounds is a sensible default because several named locations are listed there, but a distant destination may not be worth crossing a contested area to reach.
- Search the Industrial loot family systematically. At Power Generation Complex, include shelves and carts; at Scrap Yard, include Car Hoods if they are on your path. Do not expect a fixed spawn in a particular container.
- Factor in contest and PvE exposure. The guides do not establish a universal safest route. Favor a location you can reach and leave from without taking unnecessary risks.
- Extract once you have what you need. If you find a battery and have reached your target, prioritize getting it out rather than extending the run for more.
The route suggestions come from guides rather than controlled comparisons. No reviewed source provides reliable drop percentages, batteries per run, or evidence that one named location yields more than another.
How many batteries to keep for Gear Bench upgrades
The ARC Raiders Wiki item page and DamnModz guide both state that upgrading Gear Bench II to III requires three Industrial Batteries. The item page also describes the battery as Rare and recyclable, listing recycling outputs of seven Chemicals and two Batteries. These are mutable game details, not official patch notes; check the current in-game requirement before committing materials.

If Gear Bench III is your goal, reserve the stated three batteries before deciding whether to recycle any extras. Recycling is an alternative use, not a substitute for the upgrade materials.
