To complete Scout 7 in The Division 2’s Y8S3 Red Horizon Manhunt, do three objectives in Southwest in order: capture two control points, complete three regional activities, then finish one Supply Drop. The walkthroughs for this live seasonal content were published October 6, 2026; check the in-game Scout tracker in case a later update changes an objective.
Scout 7 objectives at a glance
- Capture two control points in Southwest.
- Complete three activities in Southwest.
- Complete one Supply Drop in Southwest.
The reported clues are “Establish control over Southwest so our supplies can move unimpeded,” “Solidify our presence in Southwest,” and “Secure resources in Southwest to send on to the airport.” These correspond to the objectives above, in that order. Prima Games’ Scout 7 walkthrough and Destructoid’s walkthrough agree on the region and task sequence.
1. Capture both Southwest control points
The two Southwest control points are No Hope Hotel and The Choke. Capture both to complete the first objective. If one is already under friendly control, reset control points and capture it again.
For a capture, call in allies, clear the initial enemy wave, then defend the point against the next wave. The guides report that any Global Difficulty works for this objective.

2. Complete three activities in Southwest
Finish any three activities that take place within the Southwest region. Green activities and regional bounties are options; control points or random map events may also count. The guides report that any difficulty is acceptable.
Make sure each activity is actually in Southwest, then check the Scout tracker after completing it. If the count does not advance, verify the location and try another regional activity.

3. Complete a Southwest Supply Drop
Look on the map for the green box-and-parachute icon marking a Supply Drop in Southwest. Complete the activity by opening its three chests before enemy reinforcements do. Supply Drops appear randomly; Prima Games reports that liberating all control points in the region may be necessary for one to appear. Destructoid likewise notes that the activity must be completed in Southwest to count.
If no Supply Drop is visible, finish the region’s control-point captures and check the map again. Once one appears, travel to it and prioritize opening all three chests before the reinforcements reach them.

If Scout 7 progress does not register
- Confirm that the activity took place in Southwest, not a neighboring region.
- For the control-point task, recapture both named points; reset a point first if it is already controlled.
- For the final task, complete a Supply Drop rather than another activity, and verify that it is in Southwest.
- Check the in-game Scout tracker after each objective. Seasonal objectives can change with patches, and the tracker is the best reference if its wording differs from this walkthrough.
