What is Khazan’s story?
In the 89th year of the Pell Los Empire, Khazan is celebrated as a hero for helping save the empire from the Berserk Dragon. He is later accused of treason, tortured, and exiled to the snowy mountains with the tendons in both arms severed. After narrowly surviving, he sets out on a path of revenge.
Near death, Khazan encounters Blade Phantom, a combative being from the Netherworld. Blade Phantom wants a body to inhabit; Khazan needs power to recover from his injuries. Their pact brings the supernatural conflict into Khazan’s personal quest, and the official story describes phantoms within Blade Phantom awakening as Khazan is pushed to his limits. How does Khazan’s combat work?
The official description calls the combat skill-based and presents boss fights as a major feature. One specific mechanic is Phantom Form, a temporary transformation powered by a gauge:
- Build the gauge by defeating enemies, using Brutal Attacks, or using Spirit skills.
- When the gauge is full, activate Phantom Form for a limited time.
- While transformed, incoming damage drains the gauge instead of Khazan’s health.
This gives the form a distinct defensive resource, but the available official description does not specify how much damage the gauge can absorb or establish a comparative difficulty rating.

What platforms is Khazan on?
SEGA announced that the game launched on March 28, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Japan and Asia. That announcement is specifically about those markets; it does not establish SEGA’s publishing role elsewhere.
