In a Discord developer Q&A for The First Descendant, a developer reportedly said the team had decided to add the much-requested jiggle physics feature. That was an announcement of intent—not confirmation that the feature has launched or a promise of when it will arrive.
What did the developers say about jiggle physics?
GamesRadar reproduced the developer response from the Discord Q&A: “After a lengthy discussion with the AD today, a decision has been made to add the much-requested ‘Jiggle Physics.’” The report attributes the answer to a development-team member, but does not identify the speaker by name or role. GamesRadar’s report and contemporaneous coverage from PC Gamer describe the exchange as part of a Discord developer Q&A.

Was the feature added to the game?
The statement establishes a decision to add the feature, but it does not provide a release date, update number, or confirmation that jiggle physics is in the current build. A November 2024 Reddit recap likewise said it was coming without specifying when; that post is community reporting, not an official schedule. The recap should not be treated as proof of a later release.

Where did the Q&A come from?
Nexon describes its The First Descendant Q&A archive as a compilation of player-submitted questions and developer answers from the game’s Discord dev-qna channel. Nexon also cautions that the archive may omit some Discord content and may differ from actual in-game content. For current status, rely on a newer official announcement rather than treating the Q&A response as a launch notice.
