There is no well-supported universal winner in The Forge: available third-party guides disagree, and none establishes a current official balance snapshot. For combat damage, Demon is the clearest candidate; for mobility, Angel; for mining and forging, Dwarf; and for a health-focused bruiser, Minotaur. Treat these as playstyle-based leads, not verified current rankings.
How to read this tier list
Race value depends on what you want to do. A useful comparison separates direct damage, survivability, mobility, and progression or economy value instead of treating rarity as a measure of quality. The The Forge Wiki tier list uses broad gameplay value as its frame, but it is a third-party opinion—not an official ranking or evidence of current balance.
The rankings below are therefore recommendations by role. The available guides do not support a definitive present-day order, and their race rosters and labels do not fully agree.
Best race by playstyle
| Goal | Race to consider | Why it may fit | Evidence caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combat damage | Demon | Third-party sources characterize Demon as offensive and combat-focused. | Specific bonuses and current performance are not independently verified. |
| Mobility | Angel | Guides associate Angel with movement and luck. | Exact effects and their current values are unverified. |
| Mining and forging progression | Dwarf | A race guide describes Dwarf as a mining and forging specialist. | Those utility claims are third-party descriptions, not confirmed live-game stats. |
| Health and close-quarters toughness | Minotaur | The database describes a health-oriented build with a rage effect below half health. | Current mechanics and the practical strength of the effect are unverified. |
Which race has the most DPS?
Demon is the most defensible answer among the races described in the available guides because it is repeatedly presented as the damage-focused option. That does not establish that Demon has the highest measured DPS in the current game: no reliable, current damage test or official stat comparison is available here. Actual results may also depend on equipment, build, enemy, and play conditions.

One community post asks, “which one of them has the most dps,” but that is an anecdotal question, not evidence for a measured race ranking. The The Forge Database race page offers race ability descriptions, but its official status and current verification are not established.
What the published tier rankings say—and why they differ
One third-party list places Angel and Demon in S tier, Dragonborn and Minotaur in A tier, and Elf, Zombie, and Human in lower tiers. Read that as one publisher’s general PvE and progression opinion, not a consensus. Another guide also calls Angel and Demon S tier, but its rarity labels and other classifications are inconsistent. A separate race guide highlights utility such as Dwarf’s mining and forging strengths, which a combat-weighted list may not reward as highly.

These differences matter: a race that is valuable for gathering or forging can be a better progression choice for one player even if a combat-focused ranking places it lower. The guides also show signs of staleness, so do not rely on their order as a current official roster or balance statement.
Should you choose a race by rarity?
Not on rarity alone. Rarity may affect how readily you can obtain a race, but it does not tell you whether its bonuses suit your goals. The available guides list probabilities and bonuses, yet those figures are third-party claims with uncertain currency. Check the current in-game race screen before spending rerolls or treating any listed probability as exact.

What is not established
The available sources do not establish an official, current race roster, exact verified drop rates, or a definitive balance ranking. The The Forge Roblox wiki index identifies the subject as a Roblox game, but it does not resolve current race balance. Until current in-game or authoritative information confirms the details, treat ability descriptions and tier placements as provisional third-party guidance.
