Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions first launched on January 17, 2025. It is a special Eevee-and-Eeveelutions expansion sold across several product formats, with later releases arriving in February and May 2025. A specialist set guide counts 180 cards, but current October 2026 prices and stock are not established here, so check live listings rather than treating launch-era retail prices as today’s price.
When did Prismatic Evolutions come out?
The first Prismatic Evolutions products launched January 17, 2025, according to Pokémon’s official expansion listing and product pages. The launch was not a single date for every item:
- January 17, 2025: initial wave, including the Elite Trainer Box, Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, Poster Collection, Tech Sticker Collection, and Binder Collection.
- February 7, 2025: Surprise Box.
- May 16, 2025: Super-Premium Collection.
These are historical release dates, not confirmation of current availability or original-retail pricing.
What is Prismatic Evolutions?
Prismatic Evolutions is a special Scarlet & Violet expansion focused on Eevee and its Evolutions. Pokémon’s product descriptions emphasize Eeveelution-themed promos and collectibles; for example, the Poster Collection features Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon promos, while the Surprise Box includes a randomly selected Eevee or Evolution promo as a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. See Pokémon’s Poster Collection listing and Surprise Box listing.

How many cards are in Prismatic Evolutions?
PokéBeach reports 180 cards total: 131 main-set cards and 49 secret rares in its Prismatic Evolutions set guide. Treat that as the guide’s count; it is not presented here as an independently verified official total. A complete card-by-card list, rarity breakdown, and parallel-finish count have not been verified here. For exact names and collector numbers, consult Pokémon’s official expansion page and checklist materials, and check whether a list counts numbered cards, secret rares, or alternate finishes.
Which Prismatic Evolutions products are available?
Pokémon lists several distinct sealed-product formats. They differ in pack count, promos, and accessories, so compare the exact edition and its listed contents rather than choosing by product name alone.

How should you compare products and prices?
There is no verified October 2026 market-price or inventory snapshot here. Original retail/MSRP and a seller’s current resale asking price are different figures; neither should be called simply “the price” without identifying what it refers to. Availability and asking prices can change quickly.
- For a current quote, check the seller and date, and state whether the listing is for a sealed product or a single card.
- Compare pack counts, included promos, and accessories. If you have a current price, divide it by the verified number of packs for an effective cost-per-pack comparison, while recognizing that the result does not value the other contents.
- Opening sealed packs does not guarantee a particular card. No reliable set-specific pull odds are established here.
- If you want a particular card, compare the cost of buying that single with the cost and uncertainty of opening sealed packs.
For product identities and specific contents, use the linked Pokémon listings; they establish product details and launch dates, not current stock or market prices.
