What kind of game is THE GROUNDSKEEPER?
Developer DTheProDev describes THE GROUNDSKEEPER as a first-person simulation-horror game set at a haunted Victorian estate run as a tourist attraction. Its loop is split between unsettling night work and daytime business management.
Night shifts: clean and document the paranormal
At night, players clean dirty rooms with pressure washers and other equipment while avoiding paranormal threats. They can photograph or otherwise record evidence and post it online. Steam also lists procedural entities and map generation as features; these are developer-described features, not independently verified gameplay findings.
