The Midnight Walk is being adapted for film and television by Story Kitchen and MoonHood Studios. What is The Midnight Walk about?
The Midnight Walk is a dark fantasy adventure about the Burnt One, a mysterious figure, and Potboy, a lost lantern creature whose flame helps light the way. Their journey unfolds across five tales of fire and darkness.
The game’s handmade look is central to its identity. PlayStation says its environments and characters were first sculpted in real clay, then 3D-scanned and animated in a stop-motion style. In the announcement, Story Kitchen cofounder Dmitri M. Johnson said the team hand-crafted over 700 physical models before scanning them into Unreal. That is an attributed figure from Johnson, not an independently audited production count.
