Genius Sonority has not announced an offline conversion or promised continued play after shutdown, so don’t count on the full game—or even Offline Catch—working afterward.
What will stop working when service ends?
Genius Sonority’s October 5, 2026 service-end announcement schedules the closure for December 7, 2026, at 11:00 JST. The publisher says that after service ends, “in-game data such as Jewels and items will no longer be available.” Any event still running at closure will end partway through.

The game’s main mode requires a Nintendo Account and an online connection, according to the official FAQ. That makes the main game server-dependent; the shutdown notice does not say that it will remain playable afterward.
Will Offline Catch still work after the shutdown?
That has not been confirmed. The FAQ says, “Only offline catch can be played offline,” describing what works now. The Switch release notice also lists Offline Catch as part of the game. Neither notice promises that the feature will continue to launch after the servers close, and the shutdown announcement does not announce an offline patch.

So there are two different answers: Offline Catch is an existing offline feature before closure; its availability after December 7 is unresolved. Do not treat “offline mode” as confirmation that the whole game will become playable offline.
What should players do before December 7?
- Use paid Jewels before service ends. Genius Sonority recommends using them before closure because in-game data, including Jewels and items, will no longer be available afterward.
- Record your Support ID. The publisher says it can be checked from the app’s title screen through March 31, 2027.
- Keep the app installed and on its current device. Do not delete it or reinstall it on a new device until the paid-currency refund procedure is complete; the publisher says app data may be needed to verify inquiries.
- Watch the official shutdown notice for refund instructions. The request period and procedure are to be announced after service ends, so no deadline or process is confirmed yet.
Paid-item sales ended at 11:00 JST on October 5, 2026, when the shutdown announcement was issued.

Does the mobile version provide an offline alternative?
No documented offline workaround is available through the mobile version. Genius Sonority’s March 10, 2025 mobile release notice says the iOS and Android versions do not include Offline Catch or Together Catch. Although mobile supports cross-platform play and account-linked data, that does not establish that it will preserve play after the service ends.
The Switch 2 version shares gameplay and save data with Switch through the same Nintendo Account, but simultaneous play on both devices is not supported, according to the Switch 2 release notice. That is a device-compatibility detail, not a promise of post-shutdown access.
