What does testing cheats do, and how do I get cheat help?
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true enables testing cheats. EA’s guide also lists help, help -all, and individual help queries for displaying cheat information in the console.
Testing cheats can also trigger debugging dialogue boxes. In its February 4, 2025 patch notes, The Sims Team states: “Remember that the ‘boolProp testingCheatsEnabled’ cheat will cause the game to periodically show various dialogue boxes with debugging information in them. Is there a Legacy Collection UI scale cheat?
The Sims Team’s April 3, 2025 patch notes document uintProp uiScaleFactor for choosing a UI scale. The valid values are 1, 2, or 3; the default is 2. The patch notes connect the larger default UI scale to screens larger than 1080 and say the setting can be persisted in Graphics Rules.sgr, whose location varies by storefront.
