EA’s console FAQ describes the controls for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; its console setup guide gives the same general flow. EA does not establish a separate PS5 cheat system, so these are PlayStation instructions rather than a promise that every code behaves identically across editions or updates.

Enter these commands in the cheat console. For FreeRealEstate, use the world or neighborhood screen.

These are examples, not the complete code list. EA’s current cheats directory separates build-mode and live-mode commands, with live-mode categories including general, money, career, and needs cheats. Check the mode and category before entering a code.

Skill codes and command syntax
Skill commands use a skill identifier and a level value. EA’s Programming example is:
stats.set_skill_level major_programming [skill level]

Replace [skill level] with the level you want to set. EA’s Programming skill guide provides the example and platform workflow. Consult the official cheat directory for other skills and codes; do not assume one command or mode applies to all of them.
What testingcheats means for achievements
EA warns that enabling cheats that require testingcheats true on console disables Achievements or Trophies for the current save. EA says other saves are not affected, so keeping a separate save preserves the option of earning them there. EA distinguishes build-mode cheats, which it says can be used without the same achievement consequence. Check the requirement of a particular code rather than treating every cheat as having the same effect.

Shift-click interaction cheats
EA’s 2014 Players Guide describes Shift-click interactions after entering testingcheats true. That legacy guide does not establish that those interactions work on every current platform or game version, so treat it as historical guidance rather than a universal current method.
