The available guide reported a November 4, 2025 deadline, subject to extension; the sources reviewed do not confirm a rerun or that the event can still be started or claimed. Electronic Arts describes events generally as “time-limited, themed challenges.” EA Help’s event instructions explain the usual quest and reward process, but do not establish that Forever Friends is currently available.
What happened in Forever Friends Week 1?
EA’s Forever Friends event page presents Week 1 as a new journey with Pixel the Friendly Bear. EA says Pixel can be claimed when the event starts. The official page also lists rewards from the full four-week event, so that full list should not be mistaken for Week 1’s unlocks.

A September 2025 walkthrough from Sims Community describes two Week 1 quest chains focused on a child Sim and a stuffed animal. Its section heading and first quest name do not line up: the heading says “A New Journey,” while the quest described in the text is called “Friends Forever.” The steps below are therefore grouped as the first and second chains rather than relying on those labels. Follow the objectives shown in the game if they differ from this historical walkthrough.
First quest chain: complete the plush-toy activities
The Sims Community walkthrough reports these objectives for the first chain:
#1 Best Overall
- Requires The Sims 4 & all game updates. For PC, see minimum system requirements for the pack.
- Develop Parenting Skills – Level up your Sim’s parenting skills to satisfy their child’s needs and influence their behaviors. Gain new abilities through experience and choosing when to discipline bad actions, encourage good behavior, or just let kids be kids.
- Shape Your Sim’s Childhood – The decisions you make influence how your Sim parents and leave a lasting impact on their child’s future. Each choice shapes their personality, affects their traits, influences their family relationships, and guides their path into adulthood.
- Gather your Sim’s family to participate in new activities and spend quality time with each other. Sims of all ages can work together to complete a variety of school projects, express their creativity using construction blocks, or volunteer their time for good.
- Customize your Sims’ looks and their home with new family fashion and build items. Give the kids’ bedrooms extra personality, remodel the kitchen to feel homier, and let your Sims express their sporty or artistic sides with new outfits.
- Buy a stuffed animal, or use Pixel the Friendly Bear if you claimed the event’s starter reward.
- Have a Sim hug the stuffed animal.
- Place the stuffed animal near a television and watch the Kids Network with it.
- Buy a toybox if the lot does not already have one.
- Place the stuffed animal near the toybox.
- Have a child Sim play with a toy from the toybox.
- Place the stuffed animal near the child’s bed.
- Send the child Sim to bed beside it.
Second quest chain: make and share a plan
The same walkthrough reports three activities for the second chain: have the child Sim ask an adult about the plush toy, draw a plan at an activity table, and share the plan with the toy. The in-game quest panel is the best guide to the exact objective currently being tracked.
Week 1 rewards reported by the walkthrough
Sims Community reported five Week 1 reward entries after the two quest chains. The Willow Creek and Oasis Springs magnets are listed together here as one entry, as in the walkthrough’s reward summary; the source does not clarify whether it counts those as one or two separate claims.
Rank #2
- Requires The Sims 4 & all game updates. For PC, see minimum system requirements for the pack.
- Create Vampires
- Unleash Supernatural Powers
- Escape to Forgotten Hollow
- Live the Immortal Life
| Reported reward | What the walkthrough says |
|---|---|
| Instant Fun potion | Fills the Fun motive when consumed. |
| Magnetic Memories Board | A board for displaying the event’s magnets. |
| Willow Creek and Oasis Springs magnets | The walkthrough says these can be attached to the Magnetic Memories Board. |
| Friendship Jelly Bracelet | Available in Create-a-Sim, according to the walkthrough. |
| Campfire Spudz recipe | The walkthrough reports that it can be cooked on an outdoor grill. |
EA’s event page names Pixel the Friendly Bear and other event-wide rewards, including Friendship Bracelets, the Magnetic Memories Board, Willow Creek Magnet, Modern Photo Frame, Flex & Form Top, San Myshuno Magnet, Bright ’N Bouncy Bunny Nightlight, Glimmerbrook Magnet, Trailblazer Hiking Boots, the Active Imagination trait, and Monster Onesie. That page groups rewards across the event and does not independently assign all of them to Week 1.
How to access quests and claim event rewards
These are EA’s general instructions for gameplay events, not confirmation that Forever Friends is available now:
Rank #3
- Create unique sims: A variety of sims are yours to personalize, each with distinct appearances, dynamic personalities, and inspiring aspirations
- Build the perfect home: Construct the home of your, and their dreams by planning its layout, choosing furnishings, and altering the landscape and terrain
- Explore vibrant worlds: Travel between locations, discover amazing and distinctive neighborhoods, and encounter captivating venues
- Play with life: Control the rich and entertaining moments of your Sims’ lives from their relationships to their careers
- Launch The Sims 4 while online and select Events from the main menu.
- Enter Live Mode and unpause to receive the first quest prompt.
- Open the event screen from the main menu or the event icon in Live Mode. Hover over a quest for tips, if needed.
- Select Claim on an available reward. EA says a notification indicates the next step after completing a quest; the Events screen also shows when another quest set unlocks.
EA says Build Mode and Create-a-Sim event items can be located with the Special → Event Rewards filter and carry a Plumbob marker. Collectibles and consumables are claimed in Live Mode and go to a Sim’s personal inventory. EA also says event rewards are tied to the EA Account used to earn them and remain available after reinstalling when you sign in to that same account.

Sims Community published its Week 1 walkthrough on September 24, 2025 and updated it September 30, 2025. It said the event was scheduled to run through November 4, 2025, subject to extension. The reviewed EA overview does not provide a current availability indicator or confirm an extension or rerun, so that date is historical rather than a current schedule.
Rank #4

EA Help lists PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation as supported platforms for events generally. It also says gameplay events include extra time to catch up on missed quests and that pack-specific quests may depend on an installed pack, but packs and pack-specific quests are not required to complete an event. The sources reviewed do not establish that Adventure Awaits or another paid pack is required for the reported Forever Friends Week 1 tasks.
