Regal announced a The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Yoshi Popcorn Bucket as a collectible planned for the film’s theatrical arrival. The announcement confirms the promotion, but not its price or whether any theater still has one in stock.
What Regal announced
In a March 10, 2026 announcement, Regal named The Yoshi Popcorn Bucket among the collectible merchandise expected to be available for purchase when the movie arrived in theaters. The same announcement listed a Luma Popcorn Container and a movie collectible combo.

That establishes Regal’s planned theater promotion, not current inventory. The announcement does not state a price, dimensions, capacity, materials, or how long the bucket would be offered.

There was also a separate promotion in another market: GSCinemas published an official video on March 25, 2026, titled “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie | Yoshi & Bowser Popcorn Bucket | Coming soon to Keepsake by GSC.” That supports a GSCinemas promotion featuring Yoshi and Bowser buckets, but does not establish final sale terms or which locations carried them. It also means Regal’s announcement alone is not proof that the Yoshi bucket was exclusive to Regal.
How much does it cost?
No price is stated in the official material cited here. Check directly with the theater before traveling, and treat any resale listing as a separate offer rather than confirmation of the theater’s original price.

How the movie reveal and dates fit
Nintendo and Illumination officially revealed Yoshi in the film on January 25, 2026. Nintendo said Universal Pictures would distribute the movie worldwide and listed April 1, 2026, as the U.S. release date and the date for many additional markets; Japan’s release date was April 24, 2026. These dates explain the timing of Regal’s planned promotion, but do not indicate whether a bucket remains available.
