1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe Ticket is a branching Escape from Tarkov story chapter, not a single fixed sequence. Your earlier Armored case decision in Falling Skies and later conversations with Kerman can change which objectives appear. Plan around the route shown in your live quest text: the detailed route guides describe PvP, and their steps may not match PvE or a later patch.
How The Ticket branches
The opening is not fully consistent across guides
The community-maintained Tarkov wiki lists Intelligence Center level 1, speaking with Mr. Kerman, waiting for contact, and then speaking with Prapor and Kerman among the opening objectives. The Kerman route guide instead describes the story starting after Recon Center level 1 is built. Treat these as source-specific progression details, not interchangeable requirements: use the objective text in your own game to determine what unlocks next.
Your earlier Armored case decision matters
The wiki lists conditional objectives depending on whether you handed the Armored case to Prapor during Falling Skies. Later dialogue with Kerman can also redirect the story. The route guides describe Lightkeeper, Kerman/Savior, and Prapor/Fallen outcomes, but their descriptions do not establish one universal starter checklist or a complete, dependable comparison of every ending and reward.
What each route asks you to do
Lightkeeper route
- Unlock access to Lightkeeper and obtain three TerraGroup Blue Folders.
- Deliver the folders to Lightkeeper.
- At Interchange, use a yellow signal flare near the Ultra Mall entrance, then eliminate 15 targets without dying or leaving the map.
- Return to Lightkeeper. The route guide says to free the special slot to receive the case.
These are steps reported by the Lightkeeper route guide, not independently verified mechanics. It also warns that story progress may not update immediately after dialogue; it suggests completing related Mechanic progression or relogging, but does not establish either as a guaranteed fix.

Kerman/Savior route
The Kerman guide recommends preparing 40 Physical Bitcoin, a Black keycard, Fence reputation, BTR Driver quest progress, and Solar Power. It also discusses Lightkeeper unlock steps and the Blue Folder/Interchange segment. Those preparations are guide-specific; follow your displayed objectives rather than assuming every item is required at the same stage or for every player.
Prapor/Fallen route
The Prapor guide describes opening the case with Mechanic’s help, retrieving a signal suppressor in Labs, using Laboratory access items, and finding a master pass and RFID-related items. It says to refuse Kerman’s offer for the Fallen route. The wiki separately describes conditional Prapor objectives involving large ruble handovers and additional eliminations. These requirements belong to distinct stages or branches; do not combine them into one universal payment or task list.

Resource figures reported by the guides
The figures below are attributed to different pages and stages. They are not a single combined bill of materials.
| Figure | Where the source places it | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| 40 Physical Bitcoin | Kerman route guide’s preparation recommendations | Prepare only if this matches your route’s live objective. |
| Three TerraGroup Blue Folders; 15 Interchange targets | Lightkeeper route guide; the target objective includes not dying or leaving the map | These belong to the described Lightkeeper sequence. |
| 300,000,000 or 500,000,000 RUB | Wiki’s conditional Prapor objectives; the amount varies with the Falling Skies choice | Check the branch and exact current objective before gathering currency. |
| 1,000,000 USD | A separate handover described in the Prapor route guide | Do not treat this as the same figure or stage as the wiki’s conditional ruble amounts. |
How to plan without locking onto the wrong route
- Check which Armored case choice you made in Falling Skies and read Kerman’s dialogue carefully; both can affect the branch.
- Use the current quest objectives as the authority for your next action. The wiki and route guides differ on progression details, including the stated facility prerequisite.
- Before attempting the Interchange objective, confirm the flare and survival conditions in your own task text; the route guide describes failure through dying or leaving the map.
- For Kerman or Prapor objectives, stage resources only when they appear in your branch. Bitcoin, keycards, Laboratory access items, RFID-related items, and cash handovers are not all shared requirements.
Do these instructions apply to PvE?
The detailed route pages identify their instructions as PvP and do not state a game patch or version. They therefore do not establish that the same triggers, requirements, or sequence apply in PvE or after a patch change. Player reports mention PvE progression concerns, but anecdotal reports do not prove a general defect or a validated workaround. If your task does not advance as a guide predicts, compare the objective wording in-game and check current patch information before spending resources or repeating a difficult raid.
