In FIFA Infinity’s September 16, 2015 snapshot of FIFA 16 Career Mode ratings, Youri Tielemans leads this top 30 with 90 potential. The list below ranks players by potential, using the source’s displayed order to break ties. It is a dated in-game database snapshot—not a current assessment of the players or a universal ranking.
FIFA 16 Career Mode wonderkids: the top 30
Each row gives the player’s age, position, overall rating (OVR), potential (POT) and growth—the difference between potential and OVR—as reported by FIFA Infinity’s September 2015 table. Historical team names and spellings follow that source. The ranking is descending by potential; players tied on potential keep the source’s displayed order.

How to use the ratings when choosing players
Potential is a ceiling indicator, not a complete measure of who will help your squad now. Compare it with OVR, position and the gap between the two. For example, Laporte is listed at 83 OVR and 87 potential, while Mastour is 67 OVR and 87 potential. They share the same listed ceiling, but offer very different starting ratings and roles.

- Potential: Tielemans has the highest listed potential at 90; Depay is next at 89.
- Starting readiness: A higher OVR indicates a stronger starting rating in the snapshot, while a large growth gap signals more room between OVR and potential.
- Position: The list covers goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards. Compare players with the role your squad needs, rather than treating all positions as interchangeable.
- Recruitment fit: The ranking does not measure transfer cost, availability, feasibility or tactical suitability. Those require separate decisions.
Putting the shortlist to work in FIFA 16 Career Mode
The FIFA 16 Xbox One manual describes scouting, player happiness, budget management and squad decisions as parts of Manager Career. It also describes Player Training as a way to train and track high-potential players and develop attributes, OVR and market value. The Global Transfer Network lets managers scout countries and leagues, set scouting instructions and search for specific players.
Use the table as a shortlist, then weigh a target’s role and starting rating against your squad and budget. The ratings here are the table’s FIFA 16 values; they do not establish how a player will progress in a particular save.

Why FIFA 16 wonderkid lists can differ
FIFA Infinity’s table is a dated September 2015 snapshot. FIFA Index’s FIFA 16 wonderkid page uses an age range of 16–21 and displays OVR, potential and growth, but its current ranking differs from the 2015 list. For example, its displayed leaders include Alen Halilović (77 OVR, 90 potential), Ousmane Dembélé (76, 89) and Dele Alli (77, 89). Those differences are why a ranking should be read alongside its source and date.
EA also published a FIFA 16 Career Mode youth-potential article on September 16, 2015. Its accessible page confirms the article, but the player table is embedded and was not visible there; it does not independently verify the exact names in this top 30.
