CL4NK’s core build: cover three combat roles
CL4NK starts with the Revolver, and the character guide says the passive Crit Happens adds 1% critical-hit chance per level. That makes leveling part of the crit-scaling plan, but it does not remove the need to survive the early run or handle groups of enemies.

Think in terms of roles rather than a mandatory four-weapon checklist: keep a way to pressure a dangerous single target, add lane clear, and use a crowd-coverage option if your run offers one. The build guide advises adapting to shop availability.
What to prioritize as you level
The fan build’s suggested tome opening is XP, Luck, and then Cursed, followed by Quantity and Precision. Cursed raises the challenge; the guide does not describe it as a direct damage multiplier. Treat this sequence as a suggested route, not a fixed rule for every run.

- Quantity and Precision: The guide recommends these next to increase projectile count and critical-hit chance.
Use Projectile Speed when shots are struggling to connect, or Cooldown when attacks feel too infrequent. Once projectiles are landing reliably and often enough, the build guide suggests taking direct Damage. This order prioritizes making attacks work before increasing their damage.

Keep CL4NK alive early
The character guide describes early survival as CL4NK’s weak point. Its advice is to address health, armor, and movement and use safe positioning before committing to an aggressive critical-hit plan. Prioritize staying alive and selecting targets sensibly while the build is still scaling; a damage-focused setup cannot help if you are overwhelmed before it comes together.

Unlocking CL4NK
The character guide says CL4NK requires completing Forest Tier 1 and owning the Revolver before purchase. Its additional unlock details and estimated silver costs are not clearly confirmed by an official source. Check the in-game Unlocks menu for the current requirements rather than relying on a cost estimate from a fan guide.
