Against Nithral, evade his heavy axe swings; when he shields himself and summons Wild Hunt hounds, kill the hounds before attacking him again.
How to prepare for the Golem and Nithral
Both encounters take place during Wandering in the Dark, with the Golem coming before Nithral. Keira is present and assists during the combat sequence. The walkthrough recommendations below are general guidance; difficulty and game version can affect how a fight feels.
Before Nithral
- If you have it, apply elemental oil to your silver sword before the fight. Prima Games recommends this preparation for Nithral: Prima Games’ Nithral guide.

How to beat the Golem
The Golem’s attacks are slow and clearly telegraphed, making their wind-ups your cue to get out of the way. Avoid trading blows: evade an incoming attack, then use its recovery window to land your own hits. Keira is there to assist, but the core approach is to watch the Golem’s movement and punish after it commits to an attack. See Gamer Guides’ Golem walkthrough.
How to beat Nithral
Nithral’s two-handed axe hits hard, and Prima Games advises that its attacks cannot be parried or countered. Dodge rather than trying to block the swing, then move in to attack after he has committed to it.

When Nithral raises his barrier
At intervals, Nithral kneels behind a protective barrier and opens a portal that brings in Wild Hunt hounds. He recovers health while protected, so attacking him through the barrier is not the priority. Turn to the hounds and clear them quickly; once they are gone and Nithral is vulnerable again, resume attacking him. Both Prima Games and Gamer Guides recommend prioritizing the hounds during this phase.
