CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed that some online rewards—including Twitch Drops and Bilibili Drops—may not appear in The Witcher 3 in certain scenarios. The publisher says to check the game’s main-menu CD PROJEKT RED Account section: if the items are listed there, they were granted and should become collectible after a patch addresses the issue. The support notice gives no release date for that patch.
What is happening to Witcher 3 rewards?
The issue is that some online rewards may not appear in-game. CD PROJEKT RED’s support notice specifically names Twitch Drops and Bilibili Drops, while describing the problem as occurring in “certain scenarios.” It does not say that every player or every reward claimant is affected.
The notice is about Drops not appearing in the game; it does not establish that rewards were universally lost or that a giveaway itself failed. The publisher’s stated check is whether the items appear in the account section of the main menu.
How to check whether your reward was granted
- Open The Witcher 3 and go to the main menu.
- Open “CD PROJEKT RED Account.”
- Look for the reward items there. CD PROJEKT RED says that items visible in this section were correctly granted and should be collectible once a patch addresses the issue.
If the reward is not listed there, the support notice does not provide a separate recovery process or explain what to do next. It also does not specify an account-linking workflow for these Drops, so avoid assuming that a particular linking step is the confirmed fix.

When will the patch arrive?
CD PROJEKT RED says a patch will address the issue, but its support notice does not give a date or timing. It also does not identify which platforms are affected or provide a precise set of steps that reproduces the problem. Check the publisher’s support notice for the current information rather than relying on an estimated release date.
Does buying the remaster or another copy help?
There is no indication in the support notice that buying another copy fixes missing Drops. The remastered release became available on September 29, 2026. CD PROJEKT RED says it is a free upgrade for existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as for Nintendo Switch 2 players who own The Witcher 3 on the original Switch. The remaster is also purchasable on Battle.net and the Microsoft Store. See the official remaster announcement for the platform and ownership details.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are Twitch Drops the same as My Rewards items?
No. CD PROJEKT RED’s My Rewards page covers in-game items and downloadable extras such as art books, comics, soundtracks, wallpapers, and concept art. It says a CD PROJEKT RED account is required to claim rewards, and that registering for My Rewards requires internet access; already claimed rewards remain yours offline. Those details describe My Rewards and should not be treated as a fix or account-linking guide for the separately named Twitch and Bilibili Drops.
