CD PROJEKT RED hat in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered das HDR-Kalibrierungsmenü erweitert, veröffentlicht aber keine empfohlenen Zahlenwerte – weder für PS5 noch für Xbox Series X|S. Ein offizielles Universal-Preset gibt es daher nicht. Kalibriert das Bild mit dem Spielmenü und eurem eigenen HDR-Fernseher oder -Monitor, statt Werte aus einer vermeintlich allgemeingültigen Anleitung zu übernehmen.
Was sich im HDR-Menü geändert hat – und was nicht bekannt ist
CD PROJEKT RED schrieb am 28. September 2026 in den Remastered-Änderungen: „Updated the HDR calibration panel by adding new options and other improvements.“ Das Kalibrierungsmenü wurde also um neue Optionen und weitere Verbesserungen ergänzt. Die Mitteilung nennt jedoch weder die einzelnen neuen Regler noch konkrete Sollwerte oder getrennte Empfehlungen für PlayStation und Xbox. Zur Ankündigung von CD PROJEKT RED.
Auch die Veröffentlichungshinweise liefern kein Zahlen-Preset, das für alle Displays gelten soll. Ohne dokumentierte Zielwerte lässt sich deshalb keine bestimmte Helligkeits- oder Spitzenlicht-Einstellung als offizielle Empfehlung ausgeben. Wählt eure Werte anhand der Kalibrierung im Spiel und des Verhaltens eures Bildschirms.
HDR in der eigenen Kombination aus Konsole und Display kalibrieren
Das sinnvolle Ergebnis hängt nicht allein von der Konsole ab. Relevant sind auch die HDR-Fähigkeiten des Displays und dessen Tonemapping – also die Verarbeitung sehr heller Bildbereiche – sowie eure Präferenz: Wollt ihr möglichst viele Details in hellen Lichtquellen erhalten oder ein insgesamt helleres Bild? Das sind praktische Abwägungen, keine vom Publisher vorgegebenen Messziele.

- HDR am Display und an der Konsole aktivieren. Prüft, ob euer Fernseher oder Monitor HDR unterstützt und die HDR-Ausgabe der Konsole eingeschaltet ist. Menünamen und verfügbare Optionen können je nach Gerät unterschiedlich sein.
- Die Kalibrierung im Spiel öffnen. Nutzt das aktualisierte HDR-Kalibrierungsmenü von The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered. Folgt den Hinweisen, die das Spiel für die sichtbaren Testbilder oder Regler einblendet.
- Mit den eigenen Bildprioritäten abstimmen. Achtet beim Anpassen darauf, ob helle Bereiche noch Zeichnung zeigen und ob dunkle Szenen für euch ausreichend lesbar bleiben. Ein Wert, der auf einem anderen Display funktioniert, ist nicht automatisch passend für eures.
- Das Ergebnis im Spiel prüfen. Beurteilt das Bild in einer typischen Spielsituation und passt die Werte bei Bedarf erneut an. Behandelt dabei die Anzeige im Spiel als Ausgangspunkt, nicht als Beleg für ein herstellerübergreifend optimales Zahlen-Preset.
Patch 5.00b kann den Bildeindruck in Innenräumen verändern
CD PROJEKT RED veröffentlichte Patch 5.00b am 1. Oktober 2026. Laut Patch-Mitteilung nahm das Team verschiedene Lichtanpassungen vor und korrigierte unter anderem einige Innenräume, die zu dunkel erschienen. Genannt werden PS5, Xbox Series X|S und Xbox Play Anywhere auf PC. Die Notiz beschreibt diese Änderungen als Beleuchtungsanpassungen, nicht als Änderung der HDR-Kalibrierung. Deshalb kann ein Eindruck aus einer früheren Spielversion nach dem Update anders ausfallen, ohne dass daraus neue HDR-Sollwerte folgen. Patch-5.00b-Mitteilung von CD PROJEKT RED.
PS5, Xbox Series X und Series S: keine offiziellen getrennten HDR-Werte
Die Remastered-Version erschien am 29. September 2026 für PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series X|S. In den geprüften Veröffentlichungsangaben nennt CD PROJEKT RED keine unterschiedlichen HDR-Presets für diese Konsolen. Wählt eure Kalibrierung daher nicht allein danach aus, ob ihr auf PS5, Series X oder Series S spielt; entscheidend ist auch euer jeweiliges Display. Veröffentlichungsmeldung.

Zur Einordnung: Die Next-Gen-Patchnotes vom 12. Dezember 2022 beschrieben für PS5 und Xbox Series X einen Ray-Tracing- und einen Performance-Modus. Für Xbox Series S nannten sie Quality- und Performance-Modi, ohne Raytracing-Funktion. Die damaligen Angaben ordneten den Ray-Tracing- beziehungsweise Quality-Modi ein 30-FPS-Ziel und dem Performance-Modus ein 60-FPS-Ziel zu. In den Remastered-Änderungen zum Start meldete CD PROJEKT RED außerdem, dass ein Fehler behoben wurde, durch den HDR-Einstellungen auf Konsolen manchmal nicht erschienen. Prüft zunächst, ob die HDR-Ausgabe von Display und Konsole aktiviert ist, und ob das Spiel aktualisiert wurde. Die Mitteilung benennt den behobenen Fehler, aber keine vollständige Schritt-für-Schritt-Fehlerdiagnose. Details zu den Änderungen der Remastered-Version.
