CD Projekt Red’s September 2, 2026 company update places The Witcher 4 in 2028. That is a planned release window, not a confirmed launch day or month. Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski said the studio was “not ready to share an exact date” while describing 2028 as the target window, according to Game Informer’s August 24, 2026 report.
