Movement, effects, and expressive details can give an outfit a personality beyond its static appearance. Check whether an outfit works in your Fortnite experience
Cosmetic compatibility can vary by experience. Epic says an icon in the Locker and Item Shop identifies items that cannot be equipped in islands below a specified ratings threshold. If you mainly play a particular island or mode, check the outfit’s current indicator rather than assuming it will work everywhere.
Does a larger outfit have a gameplay advantage?
No. Epic Player Support says, “Some Fortnite Outfits may visibly appear larger in-game, but they do not differ in hitbox sizes.” A conspicuous silhouette may look different, but it does not mean the outfit has a larger or smaller hitbox. See Epic’s explanation of outfit hitboxes.
