For fast leveling in Throne and Liberty, follow the main story and Adventure Codex, and pick up town Contracts you can complete along the way. If the next chapter requires a higher level, fill the gap with Contracts, Exploration Codex tasks, or Co-op Dungeons. Level 50 is a useful milestone—not the current level cap: Update 4.0.0 raised the maximum character level to 60 on June 24, 2026.
Best way to level from 1 to 50
Make the main story and Adventure Codex your default route. Amazon Games and NCSOFT describe these as the best way to level and improve skills, and they introduce combat and core mechanics as you progress. Follow the objectives they give you rather than abandoning the story to grind an unverified level-by-level route. Official character progression overview.

Take local Contracts while you quest
When you reach a new town, check its available Contracts and accept tasks that overlap with where the story is sending you. Completing them alongside story objectives adds experience and rewards without turning the route into a separate grind. Contracts can also award Training Dew, which is used for weapon mastery. The available tasks and rewards can vary, so treat Contracts as useful parallel progress rather than a guaranteed speed boost for every quest.
What to do when you’re underleveled for the next story chapter
If you finish a chapter below the recommended level for the next one, use the supplementary activities the game points you toward instead of repeatedly trying to push through the level gate. The launch guidance names Contracts, Exploration Codex tasks, and Co-op Dungeons as ways to continue progressing.

The game’s launch notes say players who complete a chapter before reaching the next chapter’s recommended level receive additional guidance on supplementary content. Exact chapter gates and the quickest activity for a particular character are not established in the official guidance cited here. Launch release notes.
New-account experience bonus: check whether it applies
The Solisium’s Awakening release page describes New User Benefits for accounts playing for the first time, including a 50-day period with +100% experience on NPC kills. This is a conditional, temporary benefit, not a permanent leveling rate. Check your account and the live in-game terms before planning around it; the release-page description alone does not establish eligibility for every current account or region. No. The Leveling Pass is optional. The 2024 business-model overview described free and paid tracks and said non-cosmetic rewards could be earned through ordinary play. That description is historical, so check the current pass page in-game for its availability, rewards, and terms rather than assuming those details have stayed the same. What reaching level 50 means now
Level 50 is no longer the game’s maximum character level. Amazon Games’ Update 4.0.0, dated June 24, 2026, raised the cap from 55 to 60. The 1–50 route remains a useful early progression goal, but it is only part of the current leveling journey. Update 4.0.0.

Quick route checklist
- Follow the main story and Adventure Codex as your primary progression path.
- At each new town, accept Contracts that fit the areas and objectives you are already tackling.
- If the next story chapter is level-gated, use Contracts, Exploration Codex tasks, or Co-op Dungeons to keep progressing.
- Check whether your account has the temporary New User Benefits experience bonus, and verify its live terms.
- Treat the Leveling Pass as optional; confirm its current details in-game.
Official sources recommend this story-first loop but do not publish a current exact level-by-level route or a reliable time-to-50 estimate. Your leveling pace will depend on which objectives you complete and your account’s applicable benefits.
