Thunderblight makes a hunter more prone to being stunned by monster attacks. Clear it with a Nulberry, evade repeatedly, or let it wear off. Thunderbeetles can also inflict Thunderblight on monsters, so the effect has an offensive use as well as being a hunter hazard.
What Thunderblight does to a hunter
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak web manual describes Thunderblight as “a status that makes you prone to getting stunned.” In play, that means a monster’s attacks can leave you more susceptible to stun while you are afflicted. The manual does not specify a percentage increase.

Keep the two uses of the status distinct: Thunderblight on your hunter raises the risk of being stunned, while Thunderblight inflicted on a monster is an offensive setup.
How to cure Thunderblight
Capcom lists three ways to remove Thunderblight. The manual does not give an exact duration or number of evasions.

|---|---|---|
| Nulberry | Use one to clear the blight. | Direct consumable remedy. |
| Repeated evasion | Keep evading until the blight clears. | Active movement option; no exact evade count is stated. |
| Wait | Allow the effect to expire. | Passive option; no precise duration is stated. |
Choose the Nulberry when you want the direct item-based remedy; repeated evasion gives you an active alternative, while waiting avoids using an item but leaves the effect in place until it ends.
Can you prevent Thunderblight?
Capcom’s general Monster Hunter manual says elemental resistance from armor can protect against blights. This is broad elemental-blight advice, not a Thunderblight-specific immunity formula for Rise. The inspected Rise: Sunbreak manual gives no numeric Thunder resistance threshold that guarantees immunity.

Can Thunderblight be inflicted on monsters?
Yes. In its version 16.0.0 Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak database, Kiranico describes a Thunderbeetle’s dirt ball as thunder-affiliated and says that throwing it at a target inflicts Thunderblight. This gives the Thunderbeetle an offensive role when one is available and you have an opportunity to hit a target. The cited information does not establish damage, duration, stun buildup, or effectiveness against individual monsters.

The direct player-effect and cure guidance here comes from Capcom’s Rise: Sunbreak manual. Capcom’s older Generations manual provides general corroboration on elemental resistance and stun susceptibility, but it is not a Rise-specific source. Neither source cited here supplies exact Thunderblight timing or a numeric stun increase.
