To unlock the Broken Shore World Quests in the original Legion progression, first complete Khadgar’s Uniting the Isles quest, then follow the Legionfall return scenario to Deliverance Point. From there, open the Broken Shore’s zone map to find available quests. Blizzard’s guides describe the original Legion requirements; exact modern level, alt-skip, and account-wide rules may differ, so check your character’s quest log and live map.
Unlock the general Legion World Quests
In the original Legion system, World Quests became available at level 110 after completing Uniting the Isles. Khadgar in Dalaran offered the quest after the character reached Friendly reputation with five Broken Isles factions: Court of Farondis, Highmountain Tribe, Valarjar, Nightfallen, and Dreamweavers.
Blizzard’s 2016 guide says the main story questline in each faction’s zone was enough to reach Friendly; you did not need to finish every quest in every zone. This is the historical Legion requirement, not a guarantee that every current character must repeat the same reputation path. If you do not see Uniting the Isles, check Khadgar in Dalaran and your quest log for an active or completed version.
Complete the Broken Shore return scenario
The Broken Shore is a separate step from unlocking World Quests across the Broken Isles. In Patch 7.2, Khadgar offered eligible max-level characters the Assault on the Broken Shore scenario. Completing it brought the character to Deliverance Point, the base for the Legionfall campaign. Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 preview documents that original route.

Find available quests on the Broken Shore map
Open the Broken Shore’s individual zone map and inspect its World Quest markers. Blizzard’s Legion World Quests overview says the map shows available quests; hovering over a marker reveals the objectives, rewards, and time remaining.

The original World Quest system included activities such as solo tasks, group challenges, profession quests, world bosses, dungeon quests, pet battles, and PvP. Rewards could include gold, gear, profession reagents, Pet Charms, and faction reputation. Quests had different durations, and completing one did not immediately generate a replacement, so use the map’s remaining-time information to plan what to do.
What Broken Shore World Quests contribute to
In the Patch 7.2 design, Broken Shore World Quests awarded Legionfall War Supplies and reputation with the Armies of Legionfall. The supplies supported construction of buildings at Deliverance Point, as described in Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 preview. Blizzard’s legacy Legion Pathfinder guide also lists Broken Shore exploration and Legionfall Commander as Pathfinder Part Two achievement requirements. Those are achievement goals, not prerequisites Blizzard identifies for simply seeing the zone’s World Quests.

General and class-specific Broken Shore quests are different
| Quest type | Progression | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| General Broken Shore World Quests | Legion World Quest access followed by the Broken Shore return progression | Zone activities associated with Legionfall, including supplies and Armies of Legionfall reputation in Patch 7.2 |
| Class-specific Broken Shore World Quests | Continued class-campaign progression | Class- and order-related content, distinct from the general zone quest pool |
This distinction is documented in Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 preview. Seeing general Broken Shore quests does not by itself establish that a class-specific questline has been unlocked.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If Broken Shore World Quests are not showing
- Check Legion World Quest access. Review your quest log for Uniting the Isles or evidence that it is already complete. The original route required the quest and Friendly standing with five factions.
- Check Broken Shore progression. Confirm that you have started or completed the return scenario and reached Deliverance Point.
- Open the Broken Shore zone map. Look for markers on that map rather than relying only on the broader Broken Isles view.
- Review your active quests and current in-game state. An active quest, phasing, or character-specific progression may affect what you see. The historical Blizzard guides do not specify every modern phasing state or alt-skip condition.
If those checks do not match your character’s current interface, use the live quest log and map as the authority. The available Blizzard legacy guides do not establish a complete modern quest-ID sequence or one universal current eligibility rule.
